I really wanted this when it launched but i didn't like the matte to shimmer ratio. When bad witch restocks I may finally pick it up. I just have a hard time getting over their pricing! Beautiful looks Milly!

This is a timely post for me as I have been contemplating buying this palette.I have most of Bella Beaute Bars's eye shadow palettes so not sure if this one will fill a hole in my collection. But it's very pretty, nice color story. Loved both of the eye looks!

They rerelease because pigments are discontinued so they have to reformulate. Saw that Clionadh shared an update about a shadow that I was going to buy but now it reflects more blue than purple so I decided to pass on it.

@danicee yeah that's the downside, sometimes the colors are too different. The upside is that they are usually better. Ensley Reign did Strawberry Moon and Flower Moon 3 times now. I've bought them all, you know, you stay Current. 🤣 They do get better each time, so it's not a bad thing, but seriously, I may just start waiting. 🤣

On instagram BBB said that, other than the magnetic pans, there were only changes to two shadows-'Beetlejuice' changed from their satin matte formula to the regular matte, and they improved the formula of the neon green, 'Recently Deceased'. Since there aren't that many changes this time, perhaps getting the new one isn't as pressing. Lol. But I feel you; it can be so hard to kind of ride the line because then it'll be just your luck that the one time you wait, they never bring back or reformulate that palette. It really is a gamble 😅

But if you haven't gotten it yet, that neon green is everything, I'm using it in all sorts of looks, and it blends very well, I use it to blend out the outer edge of my shadow looks and it's amazing, not too pigmented And very smoothr​@@cavernsofdarkness

@@claudeyaz Oh, I did! I picked it up with Poison Garden when it was released. I never had the original Strange & Unusual, so I can't really compare it, but for me 'Recently Deceased' doesn't perform the best. It's kind of hard to build up and is kind of patchy when I'm working with it, but ends up alright over a white base. I'd briefly wondered if I had gotten one of the old palettes, but ruled that out because the "Beetlejuice' shade was the updated matte instead of the previous satin. That being said, I don't have a ton of other neons to compare to, and I know neons are known for being a bit hard to do/work with, so I don't know if I'm just expecting too much. I still love the palette though!

I'm all for this palette and love it but I *am* confused how they get away with the shade names and cover art when it isn't an actual collab? I remember another brand doing various palettes that weren't collabs based on movies and they had to remove them.

I’ve been dying to watch this ever since you posted it. I’ve been rlyyyy wanting to add an all special/shimmer shade palette to my collection. I have one from adept & I like it but I’d like one that has a larger range of colors, has more of certain finishes like shifty, holo, very sparkly & less black based cuz I like to wear brighter/lighter shades on my lid generally. I’ve had a $100 Sephora GC since May that I know I’ll use but I’ve only wanted indie palettes that whole time- particularly ensley reign. They’re a newer brand I’ve been super intrigued by. That said, the new lightworks palette has me veryyy interested!!!! I wanna swatch it in store. 🩷💜💙
