Re: half time card, y’all should consider “double time card” where you get up to two minutes but your time is doubled. The fellas would either hurry to minimize the impact of the card, possibly rushing their guesses and possibly the quality of their guesses. Or they could take as much time as needed but really be penalized for taking the time to do a comprehensive tasting.

The bonus points for over all points was instituted for Dan and the time was for Sean. Same rules as last year. The only difference was points diff which would have went to Sean this year either way with last years or this year’s calculations

Agree on time. Think about the bourbon, talk about it, it just isn't fun watching you guys rush. Other comments: -The cards etc aren't fun. It was better than last year, but they mostly all just end up with you guys being unable to talk about bourbon, which is the appeal of the show. The friendly bickering is enough "competition" without you needing to be sabotaging one another. -Fewer rare/unique/small craft bottles. For something like pour guesses? Sure. But for this it's kind of fun trying to guess the bottle along with you two. I think you'll also have more "fun" results, like correct bottle guesses etc. -Tighten up the range on proof. I like the shitty whiskey idea. Or limit it to bottles that showed up on video during the year. Complaints aside, this is fun and I enjoyed watching. I second the commentors who are suggesting a summer series.

The funny thing is if time wasn't a factor as I disliked that system anyways, Sean had -4 points and -4 points for having most points as that is silly, and Dan gets +4 points for the bottle since he was writing when the time ran out. The score would have been 67 to 66. that is very close. Although I think bottle guesses should have more points as that is very challenging to do. Still a score of 67 to 66 is a good and close matchup.

Cost is kinda lame. For one, it varies by store too much. For two, BTAC is $150 while King of Kentucky is $350, and Whistle Pig Boss Hog is $600, but guess which one is the best? Agreed on dropping timer. Maybe add Distillery? And be as specific as possible (a Smokewagon/Penelope bottle only gets credit if they said "Distilled by MGP")
