This is for all of the people watching this bitching about the 'camera' man. Listen, this was our story. Our lives...my brother and his accomplishments. He Loves the yelling and the support. "He" loves it...not you... If I was filming for "you" and you said shut up...guess what? I would shut up. But I wasn't I was filming and supporting him...my brother 'akos'...so if you choose to watch this and enjoy the story for how it happened...the just accept the noisy brother slash camera man and shut up about it. okay...hmmmm kay... Love the camera man, great mental support and it clearly worked for Akos, so those who were not happy about it have simply no idea about mental aspect of this race. If I was an ultra, I would love to have someone like him by my side. I just hope that those unhappy viewers are feeling really stupid right now. Cheers for the story, top class.

Akos has been rehabbing an injury in his hamstring area for the last few years that has kept him from doing anything substantially long. He is currently living in Hungary for the school year and works in the us for the summer. (he is here now) He is an awesome dude, one of a kind person, truly great guy worth knowing. It was an honor to be a part of his crew the three years we did it. I have never submitted it..not sure how to go about that. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch.

Carson was an AWESOME addition to the crew. Without him, it would not have been the same. His assessments and semi-narration helped facilitate this whole "project". And the female crew member was super awesome as well! She knew exactly what to do to take care of Akos. Of course, we all know that Akos is as tough as they come. Amazing.

This is the real deal! It is a testament as to what the human body is capable of doing. I am a big fan of the Badwater race and do not understand why there is not more media coverage of it. The people that run this race are the true ultra-athletes of the world in my opinion.I camped out at Furnace Creek last month so I could get up at 4:00 and bike out to Badwater to watch the 6:00 AM wave start. It was so exciting! What is Akos doing these days? Tell him that he is my hero as well.

This documentary inspired me to start running. Somehow stumbled upon it when it was uploaded in 2013 and ran my first marathon in 2014. Ran two more and one ultra since then. The ultimate underdog story. Ignore all the negativity regarding the videographer. This documentary is organic gold; it's like the videographer finds out how talented his friend is at the same time the viewer does. Fantastic film.

Life is about overcoming obstacles. This morning I tried to text a girl but realized I didn't have the exact emoticon to convey my emotions. Then I opened up my packet of Pop Tarts and realized one had been partially broken. Yet I still went on with my day, undeterred by the obstacles put in front of me. I think my plight is comparable to the struggle of Akos Konya in this video.

My toaster popped before the toast was done properly, then I almost put on one of my socks inside out... then I stopped and thought of the kids in Africa and was glad in knowing they don't have to struggle with these daily obstacles we have faced and overcome with the same determination as Akos.

The girl surprised me with her supportive mentality and I would guess would be been behind Akos if he decided to run across the entire U.S. The late crew pick up was truly a blessing. This was the single most impressive documentary film I've seen in a long time, and I basically only watch documentaries. This is "Rocky" for the sport of ultra running, a real-world underdog story that should be viewed by every runner. This documentary is better than 90% of all documentaries on Netflix, why not put this monumental film on Netflix and generate some well deserved revenue? I was quite surprised not to find it there. =)

I like the lo-tech production, the simple honesty of it, the three-person crew, the old guy, Carson, they picked up as a crew member, always with the simple, understated truth and vigilant to his task, and getting choked up upon realizing their success. Then again, back when i started running two years ago, the thought of running a 10k was mind boggling to me, yet now im running marathons. Obstacles that seem daunting at first can become doable after lots of hard work, i saw that in Akos as he strived and sailed through the scorching hot road doing what he loves. While i dont think ill be ultrarunning, this definitely motivated me to keep running and qualify for Boston someday. Thanks for this

Awesome film!! I have followed this event for a number of year but it is great to see a long independent film on just one runner, and an amazing story. Thanks

David Goggins brought me here. Amazed at watching people torture themselves to show themselves what they can do.

Really fun personal documentary, as a fellow vegan runner I was a bit torn between Scott and Akos especially since Akos is so humble and affable. Very inspiring!

Love this documentary! It is well edited and the raw footage, without music or a narrator explaining everything to us, is refreshing. At first when I watched this, I thought the camera man took over too much of Akos's journey.. but really, he was cheering for his friend the way he knew how to! If the crew had an issue with it, especially being around each other for over 24 hours, I'm sure they'd tell him to be quiet.. especially Akos himself; who trained his ass off and having ultra focus he'd cut anybody off from disrupting his race. Awesome stuff!

I'm just 11 or 12 minutes into this, so can't say much about the narrator, but I for one would like to thank you so much for making this documentary narrating Akos' journey and step by step experience in a race that most of us will never be able to participate in. Thank you! :) Very interesting.

This was amazing! I almost cried at the end. He is the Rocky of running, the every man, hope! I was blessed by the credit the support crew member gave to God too. God truly blessed you all to be a part of this experience. I know you were all so proud! I'm going to run now.
