As of right now, i might have discoveted a severe Mod Incompatibility, it appears the "Tainted Item Rooms" Mod deactivated his ability to hold two Actives and Two Consumables!

Good news, the Mod's been just now updated to work again with Tainted Treasure Rooms!

..bad News, it seem the Fix didn't actually fix the issue, I.. I don't know what to do, or to say, maybe it's an Incompatibility from my Part and just my part.

Mod compatibility is quite a tedious process especially when multiple big mods are involved. It will probably get better after a few updates over time.

@@IsaacGuru oh well, I'm just really happy it isn't incompatible with much more impactful mods, anyways, Baels a lot of Fun but it can get really frustrating when the Cursed items keep coming back Worse and worse, not even some highly risky thing, just backbreakings "You get a negative effect and that's it".

I also had a idea of bael's lore: Guppy's face was taken by a evil spirit that followed Isaac to the basement, and to take him as his friend and bearer of the spirit he took Isaac's front skin off (you can see Isaac's skin behind him) and decided to stick with him. He paid Isaac back via the spirit using his dark powers to control over items and take a portion of Isaac's knowledge (The wet D6 was the best replica to the original D6)

tainted bael idea: "Steal from them all" "The Pillager" every room, you are given a choice of three items, cat giving you one more taking the cat item will cause the cat to fight for you, but the item is often bad the other three are just other items, presumably of that room's pool you keep the items until either: you get hit, in which you lose one OR you manage to keep your items till the boss room, in which the cat lets you keep three items treasure rooms are replaced with villages, where you can fight the village for a permanent item

i think the two things id suggest changing is give him the ability to see item rooms on the floor and remove their ability to lose active items or remove hold two active items entirely instead since it sounds a bit annoying to juggle alongside the whole forced to pick up items thing

From what i remember hippo (the creator) told me, bael is the name of the faux guppy demon that torments your unnamed character with the face pulled back there isnt much else to it other than that, and bael being the name of a demon from the bible

@@com398 Well, according to Wikipedia, the name Bael comes from the Semitic word “ba’al”, meaning lord or master. Given the fact that you can’t refuse the item he brings you, it kind of makes sense.

Are you sure the Offers come up when you skip an Item Room? I got a bunch of those even after taking items from the Item Rooms.
