@@i.p.7687 it can’t be done in blood moon. There isn’t just enough damage to one shot it. Darkest however, can be done by 1 leper and 3 plague doc plus the use of crystal shard.

Gamer³ The thing is that since the leper has a higher weapon damage base, damage up trinkets/skills are more effective. For example: Collect bounty at max level will give the BH an added 7-15 DMG boost on top of his 8-16 base. making it to 15-31. But the leper's revenge gives a much smaller comparative boost of +35% damage. However, due to the leper having a 13-26 base, it still gives 4-9 (as well as enough accuracy and crit to outclass the BH) Making the leper have 17-35 with more crit and ACC while taking the exact same time to set up. Granted that the BH can have someone else use the mark, But in return the BH can't hit multiple targets at once. Also, this means that any trinkets that boost damage are more effective on the leper.

Triggers are luckily Hitpoint based for the last stage, you have to make your choice at 66 and 33% Boss HP (should it heal back over that treshold it won't trigger a second time) That said, I am sad that I missed your stream by minutes and congratilations on sticking with it! Old video but I recently beat the game and sadly had to sacrifice my best plague doctor and one of my main vestal. Leper and highwayman wrecked the boss, sad thing was I nearly avoided the 2nd sacrifice as I crit the boss down to 13 hp. Soon as I saw he lived I was like fuck I'm losing my vestal lol.

There is no time manipulation and stuff like that, it's the way the game tells you that eventually someone will awaken the beast and eventually nobody will be able to stop it. Yes, the visuals look like a time loop of sorts, but it is how they depict the fact that inevitably events will repeat. The game never really was about time travel/manipulation, it would be bad writing to put it into the game in the last moment.

+Deyaa Almasri Yes, humanity and all life on Earth is screwed. We were the abandoned creations of an ancient, all-powerful monstrosity and one day, no matter how hard we fight, it will destroy us. The whole thing was pointless. Just as the Ancestor summoned the player to fight the Heart, so now the player (after committing suicide), will summon someone else and the whole thing will start over. It will keep repeating over and over until either someone fails or the Heart wakes up on its own and destroys everything. We are doomed. Powerless and insignificant against the true nature of the cosmos. Divide by zero. That's pretty much how all of Lovecraft's work ended.

That last fight is really anticlimactic. And to make things funnier, I took my 'scout squad' to that mission (to learn enemy patterns, etc). So my shittiest lvl6 chars roster that I could muster: antiquarian - occultist - abomination - bounty hunter. And I won... :P

The last fight is not really supposed to be hard, I think that's the point. Think about it, imagine dying on that fight over and over and having to listen to the same narration again. No, this fight was designed so the player would win.
