On the candy topic, one time during my security rounds, I was sent to lock up the HR building after the last of the staff left. The lady at the front desk leaves a candy bowl out which among other things had fun size 100 grand bars in it. I took two, and continued my rounds til I got back to the front gate. I put on a panicked face, rushed in the back door and in a hushed tone told the gate guard "Keep quiet, I stole two hundred grand from HR, here's your cut." And reached into my coat pocket and slapped one on the desk. He had a look that was a mix of fear and confusion on his face until he saw the candy bar then he busted up laughing.

Full-on damage is much more effective for the Corpse Light than trying to control worm spawns all the time. Especially with the Larval Carrion Eater pet, you can spend far less time on support skills when your heroes can heal from destroying corpses themselves and get free destresses from all the bonus crits you get

Hey Baer, just a heads up, if you kill an enemy with purge on the leper it automatically gets rid of any corpse they would spawn. I know every bit matters with the corpse light so figured I’d chime in. Love the content and keep it up crushing that vitrine

I agree that a mix of run success and failure is most fun to watch! But I do really, REALLY wish that the devs would allow for separate save files. So I could keep my squad of bad-asses for challenge runs, but also have a squad that I just messed around with and didn't feel guilty TPKing by hitting the Shambler 4x in a run. So no changing the ironman nature of an individual save (i.e., you can't reload a failure), just have separate accounts that let you try to do different things with the game at the same time.

You can do this ever since dark side of the mountain. Just copy your main file over to the mod side then don't use any mods or use small ones. Let's you mess around without worrying about losing anybody. This works on steam at least.

I hope Leper & Hellion get a rework in the next update. They're some of the last few heroes that have no difference in nearly half their skills across all paths. Good effort on the Corpse Light torch; when you go up against that menace I'm just rooting for your win all the more!

About the diatribe on early food preferences forming based on experience one of my aunts made this horrendous cheap fish filet that made the whole place just reek, the texture was too soft and clung to the inside of my mouth, the only reason I didn't vomit eating it was because it was the only food available. I've been repulsed by almost every form of fish product since then. There was the rare meaty fish with a texture similar to red meat like a tuna steak, but even then I didn't eat much of it, the only fish I would regularly eat is fried shrimp.

Loving the content :) also as someone who intrested himself in bartending for a bit mixing something good tasting AND non-alcoholic was a bit of a challange especialy for example on garden parties for group of kids that want to be included. So i can see a world where soda bars are popular and thats not speaking about drivers.

As someone who has been taking KZbin seriously for about 3 months now, I can say I am curious about the always winning videos. Most of my content is failed runs but people see me getting better. I feel in the long run that's the way to go

I 100% agree that people like to watch the player get better. I'm not so sure they like to watch them throw runs, though. For example, ignoring health pickups in Wizard of Legend would make it more likely for you to lose; most viewers would consider that as 'throwing'. Ignoring the hp pickups is not a measure of the player's skill - unless that was the theme. Choosing to battle a possibly-ordained Shambler, while carrying the shambler pet, during an otherwise successful run, where the goal was to finish the run...

@gnerkus I can see that. Throwing is different than trying and losing a run. Constant throwing would be not fun to watch but constantly trying something new, i.e. new builds or characters is still fun to watch, win or not

Since Baer is really into DD2, a certain creator named Miacidae is a big DD1 player who also takes repeated defeats on the chin and is really enjoyable to watch. Give them some support if you feel so inclined. Hopefully this isn't a big no-no to plug someone else, but i promise I'm not getting anything from this.

This vod forced me to go get doughnuts at the only place near me (a supermarket) despite knowing their baked goods aren’t great. They were custard filled and the custard was literally partially frozen. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

You should name all DD2 vods to make it seem that you won even if you lost. i love a plot twist or Trying to figure out if you will win or lose from your title. But thats just me, loving the vids :) I fall asleep to them so i watch sometimes even 3 times.

I'd like to clear up a misunderstanding. The suggestion wasn't to always post wins; it was to not throw runs. Choosing to battle that Shambler was intentionally throwing the run. People like to watch their favourite teams get better; they definitely don't like watching the team throw games. There are infinitely more ways to make runs more interesting than throwing them e.g random parties; named parties; user-submitted parties. I watched a few vods and realized that the Twitch viewers do like chaotic runs (intentional throws, questionable decisions). This was the context I lacked so I won't comment about this topic anymore.

25:40 I never liked alcohol at all, not for religious or health reasons. It just taste bad and drunk people tend to annoying or jerks more then sober people. I'd love a bar ware I'm not weird for not drinking and people aren't too drunk. I don't even like soda I'd be happy with an entry fee also it would be amazing for recovering alcoholics so they don't need to drop hanging out with people
