Baffle removal SVT Boneshakers / M8 Touring Exhaust

Tried removing the baffles from my SVT Boneshaker Slip-ons to try to make a little more noise! Twin Cam slip-ons modified on M8 stock headers.

Brother the volume is all in the headers. If those are factory headers especially with the cats its gonna be quiet

I removed my baffles on my Vulcan few years ago and noticed the bike was able to breath better. Did you notice your gas mileage increase or decrease after the baffle removal?

Sorry I never really pay attention to gas mileage. riding fast and cracking the throttle doesn't help so I never checked. Besides I totally changed the bike and have a 2-1 shorty turnout exhaust on that bike now. Thanks for watching though.

I tried removing the baffles from the SVT Boneshakers, but it doesn’t come out like yours. How did yours slip out so easily?

Brother if you have the opportunity and the Money, try a different exhaust system all together. Perhaps then you will get the sound your looking for.

Yeah I definitely will at some point. I just figured it was worth a shot to try since it was easy and free to do! I just see people buying exhausts and then changing them again because they still not happy and parts are expensive so I want to make sure it will be one I like!

@@2wheel-therapy I understand, Try Dirty Bird Custom if they still exist???? Not sure if they are. Those one off building shows don't hang around long. But at any rate there has to be something out there for you. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. God bless.

Is the the exhaust different from your other bikes

Yeah my Chopper has a 2-1 exhaust and the Vrod has shorty turnouts on it.

I put the BULLIES on my bike. An i wasn't impress. More like piss off. They wasn't loud at all. Im all about the sound to. I think im have to remove the baffle on mines to.

It is worth a shot since you already have the exhaust. It is free to remove the baffles and see if it sounds better for you. I totally changed mine now since the whole bike is different now. Hope it works out for you and thanks for watching.
