Worth knowing that recently (about a year after purchase) the water bottle pockets on my Eagle have begun failing. The stitching burst on one and was frayed on the other. It happens and could be random but felt it should be disclosed.

I would likely go for the Eagle in this lineup. I do not care about the zip pulls as I replace all of mine with paracord pretty much right out of the box. I do not like the "airflow" panel style backs on any bag and I live in one of the hottest places in the US! lol I know a lot of people like them and need them to be comfortable, however not me. Thanks for the side by side!

You may want to reconsider your statement about LBT's berry compliance.

You may want to do your research. The issue that was taken out of context by their competitor (who was exposed for lying about his gear then claiming ignorance) was a single contract from several years ago. Their retail products have always been berry compliant as confirmed through federal audits. That specific contract was a mix up between LBT and their sister company LBX which makes gear in Peru. All the photos he referenced in his rant were of LBX products that had been mislabeled with LBT tags. Both the legal document and photos are a matter of public record and were addressed by LBT when it happened. Very old news.

They do happen to make a cheaper one at LBX in Peru. I got each of these for about $90, I think the LBX could probably be had around that $50 mark on sale.
