Excited to start this tutorial. I will be using a mixture of characters I purchased on sale last year. Another suggestion for those who can't find the characters is to make pom poms in different colors and use those instead. Curious to see how it turns out.

I’m making your first blanket with the Sesame Street characters for my 7 month old granddaughter. I’m using a pale yellow yarn in place of the white. Also, I purchased all nine of these characters and I’m making my blanket larger to use them all. It should be crib sized from what I have planned. I had to order my Sesame Street characters through Mary Maxim, but did get an excellent price for them. Yesterday I saw all but Bert, Ernie and Oscar the Grouch at my local Joann’s store. I just did my first square. I was out of state and I only brought a 5mm. So my square is 11.5” so I’ll just use that hook on each square 👍🏻🥰
