Really enjoyed this excellent video Andy, as always. What a superb day! Lovely view of Leeds/Bradford. Can you tell me a little more about what was different and why on the approaches to Warton vs Barton - my impression was the former was much smoother. Cheers - Paul

Paul Markman Hello Paul and thanks for the feedback. We did two approaches at Warton, the first was flapless, ie: without three stages of landing flap. You can practice this at Barton, but as it’s a short runway and the Warrior likes to float (plus you’re carrying extra speed), I prefer somewhere a little longer! Second approach was more a conventional one like I land at Barton. The nose down is more pronounced and 10 knots slower.

Hello Andy, How did you arrange the T+G at Warton ? Was it just by radio or had you called previously ? Did you have to pay a fee ? Cheers, Pete Maher

Peetmarr60 Requested over the radio Peter whilst on a LARS with them. No fee and very accommodating if not too busy. Did an SRA approach in IMC on my bi-annual with them. It was amazing.
