That roll pan is looking good and that control holder is pretty cool. I am an old school switch guy too I just love the look of old school switches I mean lowrider magazine is what got me into cars in the first place.

Crawford, can you run the wire behind the stereo so it's not seen?? That was a killer concept to reality! Also have you tried steel it paint? They have a Black that would probably look factory for that holder... and its not dull or shiny... its kind of a satin so it will match the plastics!

I had a truck stolen in high school, so I was able to turn the old cigarette lighter into a push kill switch to the coil, on a Silverado that I had.

So I’m still teaching myself how to tig weld. I have issues with the metal blowing out when I strike an arc on sheet metal . Are you striking on your filler or did I just buy a shitty tig welder with too high of a starting amp?

You wouldn't normally strike the arc on the filler. If it's blowing out immediately, I'd say you're potentially giving it full throttle right off the jump rather than starting at a low amperage, then working your way up. Do you have a foot pedal, or is it a trigger on your finger ? If it's a finger button / trigger then it's wide open the whole time. If it's a foot pedal it's variable amperage and you need to press the pedal just enough to start an arc. What welder do you have ?

@@Virginiaisforlowriders I have an ArcCaptain tig 200dc only with a foot pedal. It isn’t exactly the highest end setup, so that’s why I say the starting amps might be too high. I can’t remember what the minimum is. It’s been awhile since I messed with it because I lost patience and it got hotter than hell out to be worried. I’ve mainly been using my mig welder lately.
