@@twistedimages405 unfortunately my wife had problems with it one day coming home from sulphur. Truck overheated. Blew out the tank on the road. I replaced it. Next day the water pump that was installed when I put in the engine went out. No sooner did I get the water pump replaced the head gasket. More problems bla bla engine locks up. I still have the truck it's currently sitting on jack stands waiting for a engine. Not sure what to do. I have a 2018 Camry with D2 coilovers and 20" tsw. The wheel fitment is on point in my opinion. But it sure looks better with your bags and with your air management. ( Please Santa. lol)

Maybe I missed this in the video but were did you find this jewelry of drivers? When I was 7 my dad purchased a two year old 1975 Datsun 510, 2 door white with black interior and some modification from the previous owner. My uncle was living with us at the time working as a Chevy mechanic at the town delership which was the Datsun deler as well located literally accross the street. He took the car immediately to the garage where mechanics were allowed to have one car project per year for 10 days access to a giant single piston extruding from the ground lift plus 10 days use of a bay with a step down dungeon space. Basically garage types that have been out lawed due to safety. The space was in in a 20 car stall space on the back side no longer used and torn down a year later for a movie theater. So he had 20 days for any and all work for the year he put into my dads car as rent and food while living with us. Original owner Mods: Datsun 240Z 140mph spedo & Datsun Racing Tach, Oil Pres, H2O Temp, Alt Ohm, Custom tubular headers to a Stainless 2" exhaust using a Thrusher Cherry Bomb muffler exiting out a chrome 2x6" tip 4" in front of the driver rear wheel (unheard of in 1977), Big for the day 15" JDM Watanabe 8 spoke Banana wheels with offsets intended for a 240Z so 205 Front 225 Rear tires, cut fender and quaters for custom metal fender flares TIG welded on, custom tubular front A arms, adjustable rods for stearing angles, custom tubular rear anti hop control arms, bigger sway bars, Disc brake kit front and rear from Datsun Racing (aka Bluebird/Skyline) Koni Electronic adjustable shocks and struts with under dash control box (questionable if this worked as my dad claims he never noticed a difference but I think operator errors), cut springs with now unknown drop/maybe 2" front 1.5" Rear, 240 foam rear hatch 4" spoiler adapted to trunk, Datsun Sunny GS Stering wheel, Bluebird SSS 4dr style fender rear mirrors, Datsun Competition Cobra RS style seats black leather with chrome grommets and rare open center fish net headrest, matching lowback roadster style buckets in back all with 4 way harnesses, cut and install of aftermarket front or rear 2" pop up glass sunroof, same done for back seat. Some custom sheet metal rails to make up for roof weakness from cutting. My Uncles Mods: Single 6 inch wide black racing strip from front bumper to rear bumper on the right side of the car, Engine swap to 1st year crate motor from Skyline Racing of an L20ET but addition of an Intercooler from a 72 Mack Truck, Lage core Datsun Racing radiator, HEI Dastun Rotor, Points, Coil, Plugs, big injectors (only 3 sizes to choose at that time), Adjustable cam gear, custom grind cam from Crower, HP electric fuel pump, H2O pump, gear swap on oil pump for more volume per second, Custom oil pan for 2 additional quarts, baffled and sectioned to ensure oil is evenly distributed and not sloshing to back or sides during acceleration or cornering, custom prototype 4 puck HP super stiff clutch with early prototype hydraulic engagement clutch pedal for rare 5spd Fairlady 240Z transmission out of Montreal, Canada. Custom cromo driveshaft with cromo drive shaft protective loops installed under floorboard, 5 point 2 1/2" roll cage installed with a low X between front and rear so I could still climb in back. Swap to R200 rear Differential, axles and suspension parts for 4 wheel independent travel and mechanical limited rear wheel stearing at 15% assistance to front. Original car was about 75hp, my uncles engine swap with motor obtained from Vancouver BC made it about 145hp All from my uncles notes of the race cars he built over the years. My dad invested around $4k not including original purchase. My dad was a Staff Sergeant in the Army and my mom was a GS 10 secretary on base so they made good money. My mom drove a 440 Plymouth GTX that was pretty wild too.

Love the build and have watched it at least 30 times now but my question is where is the pressure switch or I am missing it on the tank?
@twistedimages4052 ай бұрын
@@cowboy072369 that’s a great question! With the Air Lift 3P and 3H systems, the air pressure sensors for the tank and each air bag are built into the valve manifold. So you only need a single line from the tank- no external sensors required.

Sweet Datsun coupe. Is that hard to drive and shift with a right hand drive?
@twistedimages40510 ай бұрын
You get the hang of it pretty quickly. In my experience the trickiest parts are making left hand turns through intersections, and also on most JDM cars the turn signal and wiper control stalks are reversed so I’d constantly turn on the wipers when I made a left turn haha

You’ve obviously never driven one on air, because the ride is spectacular and still sporty. And you also clearly didn’t watch the video where it shows that everything is 100% reversible if a future owner wants to make a race car out of it. Thanks for contributing exactly nothing to the conversation though. ✌️
