He was doing good all this time and he was in a very good place ....but things he did was more for other people, he has helped a lot of artist ( all are very popular now,) and was doing a lot for the hip-hop culture. It is just that he is finally now....doing something for himself ...Trust me he has a strong and positive mindset. Just for you information..he was the CEO of two top hip-hop record labels. Now he is again into other business....he always likes challenging himself and doing new stuffs.

@@clueless7999 True. Jay is being the KHiphop champion for helping not just artists within his label but within the industry. Remember the "Everything You Wanted' that took Korea's by storm back in 2015? He could've been releasing his RnB songs that is his strongest strength and make even more for himself, but he instead stepped back ventured into the rap career (which everyone knows isn't as superior genre as his RnB), while participated in a lot of shows that helped building up the next gen Korean rappers/hiphop artists. And now he's back to his RnB/Kpop root and people are surprised by his impact? Queen IU impact is obvious but Jay accomplished all this before he went on doing some other stuff.

He just stepped down as CEO of his 2 labels, after the very successful launch of his Won Soju brand a couple of weeks ago, he opened his new label MoreVision, this is his first release on his new label, so know he owns AOMG, H1ghr Music, MoreVision, Won Spirits ( his alcohol company that make Won Soju) and other businesses, not only is he a great artist but he is also an astute businessman
