I was lucky to attend IU's concert in America and yes, it was one of the best concert and loved all the songs she sang. I normally don't like the singers talking so much during the concert but IU is exception since her talking voice is so soothing and she is so funny and lovable, I can just listen to her talking and singing all day! IU said she wrote this song just because she wanted to remember how much she loved this summer and won't release this song but we all hope she will someday!

I have been to the Berlin concert and watching live concert videos gives you an idea how perfect her live shows are. But actually being there is absolutely jaw dropping. She is otherworldly good.

What's more special about this is that she wrote this song to say goodbye to her world tour and it's to be only performed in this last show no release nothing. Also i love your reactions guys id love to see more IU here because she is THE ARTIST. Love ♥

IU actually got famous in her debut days for covering many songs while playing the acoustic guitar - she made acoustic interpretations of SNSD's Gee, SuJu's Sorry etc leaving veterans like You Hee Yeol awestruck. Guitars and/or Keyboard are necessary for all singer songwriters like her.

IU pays tribute to women in the industry from different generations in her performance of her song s.h.h. A song made by women for women. In it she talks about how women relate to each other, the high price of being a woman, what love is like between women and the relationship between mother and daughter. It is also a recognition of how difficult the K-pop industry is for women. Surprisingly, IU is the only soloist and female artist to perform at studios in Korea. Because not even the biggest female groups of all generations in K-pop were allowed to perform at them, they are only offered to men and male groups. The only soloist to have 100 concerts. The Korean industry looks down on women, limits them to performing in small venues, does not allow them to grow and that is why they retire before consolidating their careers. iU is paying tribute to the older female artists who inspired her, to the younger ones who are now paying tribute to her... this goes beyond statistics and status, but is a celebration of artistic legacy and the emotional bond that unites different generations of artists. Her encore concert at Sangam Stadium gave her the record for the largest audience for a concert in South Korea, with 107 thousand seats sold in 2 nights. IU was a young artist; with her guitar and her voice, she told sincere and real stories that conquered the hearts of the South Korean people. The little girl who only sought an audience to listen to her love poems, became the greatest and most respected living legend of all time in the artistic industry of her country.

Her live clips and studio albums are so good but listening to her live is a different experience, she does magic. Her vocals, band, orchestra, dancers, fireworks, drone show, tweety balloon, vcr, seat cushions and gifts to every single attendee sets the standard so high I don't think anyone else could do that.

IU was known for her guitar early on in her career. She used to play it a lot more when she played smaller stages. She truly is a singer songwriter. I also was at her concert in Singapore earlier this year and the way I was just crying and smiling the entire time. Goosebumps all throughout. Amazing voice. Best show of the year for sure.

It sounded like Lilacs rock version from the point of view from the meaning of lyrics.. The only artist who is able to write a goodbye to her thirties song sounds like a a lovely love song. IU is a true artist

I got into Rosemont concert, was already 40000 in the queue and she sold out within the hour. And her concert was amazing, seriously professional, ingenious yet very authentic and warm. But her concerts in S.Korea, is still dazzling and fantastic, I would rather go to her S Korean concert, but getting tickets to those are even more impossible.

Her Seoul concerts especially the stadium ones are really grand, I went on both days and it's so worth it. The most expensive cost at around 150 dollars only and it has everything lol. I hope someday she can bring this kind of shows worldwide. Though I think any IU concert is so worth it, I would still watch it even it's just her and the band.

Hi and thank you. IU doesn't spare expenses that's for sure I could give you a list of expensive things in her concerts, drones, fireworks a giant beautiful hot air balloon form where she sang strawberry moon etc. She has played both acoustic and electric guitars, more acoustic for sure. I'm sure you know she can play more instruments but singing is of course the blessing we received from her. 107k seats were sold for 2 dates 54k per day, but add VIPs in those booths between levels and you'll get 60k easily per day, this is after all the world cup stadium in Seoul. UAENAs bought most of them (I mean exclusive sale for UAENA members) leaving just a few thousand for the open ticketing everything went faster than eating breakfast.

That is right comment, many of IU songs are far more impactive in her live concert singing than studio versions. I think "The Winning" album was more specifically for the world tour than studio listening. Songs like the Shopper are high impact in the concert, than the MVs which itself was striking. Many artists are famous, trendy etc., but very few achieve the next level of "reputation", they become icons. And that is only by consistently high quality output over a long time, unfazed by trends and times. And yes IU is that in S.Korea, or even anywhere in the world. She is a throw back to an earlier age of singing, where art/artistry was more prominent that packaging/promoting. "Listening" music mattered more than "Viewing" performance.

I agree! Holssi is a perfect entrance song, while Shopper gives that very lively magical vibe in the middle of the show and Love Wins All is a perfect ending giving goosebumps as it has less instruments and we can hear her angelic voice.

IU had play guitar all the time. In the past, she played guitar in some small covers and on some cover stages. Jieun also played the guitar when she composed his own songs. Recently, he also played guitar in concerts the song“like a star”. now this bye summer is her new self-composed song⭐️😭💫🥺💜she is a passion，talented musicians💜👍🙆🏻‍♀️

In fact, when she first became a singer at the age of 15(in 2008), she was a ballad singer who played and sang on her guitar. Just like other famous S.Korean ballad singer in early years(1960~1990).

She has been a fan of MYMP for a long time. Four years ago, she mentioned that she had been listening to MYMP songs for 10 years (now 14 years) or since her teen years. she is the only kpop artist with no haters.. First time i saw her was in a show along with Jiyeon (my all time favorite group T-ARA). Now she is the only 2nd generation artist that is still heavily active. That's why it is called "slow and steady wins the race". She is more like Arijit Singh, simply talented "but she can dance too".. But i still miss T-ARA, Queens of Hits..

I saw her in the US, and am a very serious fan, but I would say in a hesitating way that I was disappointed in the absence of her back-up singers and orchestral accompaniment. We're a little spoiled by the live clips from Korea where no expense is spared and the audience participation and fan chants are so disciplined and inspiring.
