As a music producer and someone who studied music myself, I love how basic this is. It just goes to show, you don’t need one million sounds, effects, plug-ins or know advanced music theory (although he obviously does) to create a track.
@amnesia57504 жыл бұрын
Exactly
@tigerchuu21484 жыл бұрын
@@itstarun7318 No not really, you can make modern house, future bass and even orchestral music in FL, Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase, etc. With basic sounds or stock sounds. Just watch some KZbin videos on how to do sound design and play around with the synthesizers that comes with your program. Also a lot of modern music producers, especially within EDM and electronic music do not know any music theory at all, especially not when they started out but they eventually learn music theory by just making music. In the end the only thing stopping you as a music producer is creativity. If you can't make a song because you don't have the sounds you need or want or don't know the advanced music theory to make add11 chords or whatever, then I think there is a problem with your creativity. Think about it for a second, if you don't have a snare just record something in your home add some basic eq, compressor, reverb or whatever and tweak the pitch until you have a snare you like. Its all about how creative you are, not about what you have. Even just one guitar is enough to make a hit if that's what you want.
@tigerchuu21484 жыл бұрын
@@itstarun7318 I know what you said and I know you also said you agree with me but then you say and I am going to quote the exact words you said "If you're making modern music you definitely need modern theories & sounds" which I just proved to you is not true.
@tigerchuu21484 жыл бұрын
It's Tarun I am already there I’ve also studied music production and sound engineering and I know my theory. If you really know the business you should also know a lot of artists now a days don’t want to sign with labels anymore either because then they have more freedom and get more royalties and control over their music. You should also know already that everything from white noise, to saw leads to plucks to 808s and hi hats and guitars can be made in one synthesizer because in the end they are just waveforms. All you have to do is watch some KZbin videos on sound design or maybe even just play around with your synthesizer and you will learn and be able to make anything. Nexus, Serum, Sylenth, Massive, Omnispehere for example are all basic synthesizers and are all exactly the same just different design and different presets, but if I want to I can make any of the presets you have on those plug ins on a basic free synthesizer. You don’t need music theory, you don’t need a bunch of plug ins or sounds because they are all sounds others made in synthesizers so you don’t have to do it yourself, it’s just there to make it easier for you. Music theory is the same, because I know music theory it’s easier for me to know what notes fit in the key of my song but you don’t need music theory to hear what works and what doesn’t you just need to not be tone deaf. Also I’m the music business everyone uses and does the same thing now a days and you should know that, there is a lot of competition because you’re not creating anything special, you’re not making your own sounds, you’re just downloading from splice and using nexus presets. That’s why I hardly believe you’re in the music business when you’re say what you’re saying.
@alkfs137a4 жыл бұрын
Exactly. You just need creativity and good ears. Though music theory and equipments help the production process, in the end, its all about how creative you are to make the track sounds good, and enjoyable to the people.

Shane Althea Ruiz being their producer means he's helping make their music and style, not managing their schedule. Also having the most shares means he's powerful in the big decisions (changing genres, creating new groups, entering new markets), so not something like how promotions would work. He also called Twice "his experiment" because he tried things he never tried before with them, the biggest example is adding Japanese members into a Korean group. This experiment worked which is one of the reasons we now have NiziU.
