Am not familiar with American yarn weights. A size 4 hook, is usually used with an 8ply yarn, which may be equivalent to your DK yarn. Love the mosaic pattern. I'm making one that looks a bit like a houndstooth pattern. Thank you for your postings, they're excellent. Edt. PS: from Australia 🇦🇺
