I watched someone else show how to NOT twist your chains. She said to do about 10 stitches to start then slide the first stitch onto the end of your crochet hook. Then be careful not to let it fall off and finish your chain stitches. When you are done the chains are all ready to just slip the first chain off and connect it without twisting. Love your videos and can't wait to make this for Spring. Just 16 more days!!

I want to say thank you for the way you explain how corners work on this type of pattern… Poncho or a shawl… A lot of times when the designer is doing a video there just telling you what stitches to do and where to put them but explaining how you are getting into the corner and getting out of the corner and mirroring what do you do you want both sides is going to make a big difference to a lot of people when they come to other patterns but they’ll be working in the future. Thank you for taking the time to explain that! As always your thorough and such a joy to watch

This is nice colors and I believe would be great to take on vacation to Tennessee. Looks lightweight enough but would be great with capri jeans. I mix what I like. In my younger days I wore heels with my jeans. People said I was crazy but I didn't care. Good job lady! 😇

I made for my mother-in-law for mother's day and turned out lovely. I used the prism colorway. I did shell stitch around bottom and almost wish I wouldn't have because flipping up a little. I made this poncho using Hobbii cotton kings, a much thinner yarn, and it came out absolutely gorgeous! One cake made a beautiful garment that fits me so well! I'm a size 14, 5'4 and I think on a thinner of bigger person it would great. Thank you for making such a versatile pattern!!!

I did 80 Chains and the sc row. My neck opening is huge..34 inches.. I even went down to a size I Hook. You said the opening looked small but would enlarge over time. Mine is already there!

I like this one a lot- just found out that shawl in a ball is discontinued- what can I use to get this kind of look? Also, can I make it in DK cotton? I would need to use stitch markers at each point, using diff colors to distinguish sides & front points, plus front & back. I’ve never attempted clothing other than hat, scarf, and baby booty, so far. 😅I hope to have patience enough to make a Poncho like this, one day soon?😊
