Thanks for the link! Another very useful video. Watching it I thought the mylar sheets would be a better alternative to what I had planned, but you're right, that space at the top is not enough. And the state of the boards when they arrived is crazy, even with the better packaging. I'd be furious even with the replacements. They're so expensive. I spent a few hours yesterday looking for storage solutions and decided it would be better (and considerably cheaper) to make something myself. So I've found some A0 (33 x 47 inch) foam board, 5mm thick. This is overkill for one-sheets but 1) I want space around the edges anyway, 2) it'll work for my quads, and 3) A0 is a lot easier to find. Don't think I found any 28 x 42, then you're getting into expensive custom jobs.. I've also found a roll of clear 175 micron acetate that matches (to the mm) one of the A0 sides, so with a pair of scissors I can get 28 "covers" to go over the posters, which is more than I ever plan to own. Now I'm just researching the right kind of clips to buy out of the hundreds available to keep the sheet in place. Although it's literally just occurred to me as I type that I could maybe glue along these lines of the acetate sheet to the board, leaving a lot of room to work with taking them in and out. | | | 47" | | | | 25" | | |______33"_______| Stapling would be better than gluing now I'm brainstorming. Let's keep glue the hell away from my posters. All materials are acid-free. The end result may not be super pretty but they'll be fully rigid, weigh nothing, and be well protected. I just can't find what I want at anything like a price I can afford.

I would stay away from glue as well.keep me posted on what you come up with.

Thanks for the upload and your review. It was really helpful. What would be the alternatives to the products offered by Bags Unlimited would you recommend? Or indeed, storage ideas for posters where they can be displayed and preserved without the cost of getting them all framed or where you have limited wall space.

Honestly even with the troubles I have, I would still buy from them. I haven't found an alternative yet. Just buy the 27x41 even if your posters measure 27x40 to give the extra space. Also if you order them just make sure you tell them you have heard that shipping hasn't been great and that you want to make sure it gets packaged well. Thanks for watching.
