Bahari Beach is one of the oldest hotel in Dar-es-salama, I love the food there. I guess, I will spend a night there again on my next trip to Tanzania 🇹🇿

About the Check-out issue, I think there was a misunderstanding. In Tanzania as the sunlight and darkness are basically 12hrs/day each, at 11am in morning for us in Tanzanian time is actually at 5hr after the sunrise and at 5pm for TZ time is at 11hr of sunlight. So 6am for us is 12hr of dark and 6pm is 12hr of sunlight. The 7am and 7pm for us are 1hr of Sunlight and 1hr of dark and so on.

Impressive resort. Very lovely just like boracay before. The only problem is the staff are giving wrong information regarding checkout time. Plus the server are shouting at their customers.
@kilimanjaroICE5 жыл бұрын
SheyShey Frans In Tanzania we tell times in Swahili Times and not only do confuse visitors but confuses us the locals too specially when telling it in English. When the room attendant said 5 (I even doubt if she added am or pm) she meant saa tano (five o’clock in direct translation). If she was speaking in Swahili directly could say saa tano asubuhi au usiku (Swahili times based on Morning/Noon/Evening/Night ). Anyway, can be very confusing and I have been in Europe for over 20 years and I still confuse people in here too as I sometimes use Swahili times way of telling time. Just for future visitors to our beautiful Mamaland, be familiar with that Incase you checked in at 2pm and you are told check out is at 5pm,, you must question that,, as my experience is that Check out is always few hours earlier than Check in. All in all apart from that little mouse in public toilets,, Bahari Beach Hotel is Beautiful and have been there number of times, and I loved it.

Around jangwani they all have moreless similar prices... like Ramada resort, Giraffe hotel... In my opinion Ramada is the best around that side
@ArchitectRussell5 жыл бұрын
@@HermanMannytheNerd I thought the same with Ramada, but until I went with my mother recently. We found the beach around there very smelly, dirty and she was bored - there was nothing much to do apart from a gym and pool and no entertainment. Its much more expensive also.
