July is usually rainy season or hurricane season from my understanding. So I would avoid July and do December for your school holidays as it’s always in the 80s in December and the video is December too.

Was thinking of staying here but that's a lot of walking to get from one point to another and definitely won't have the patience to be waiting for rides. Are there scooters you can rent?

I did not see any scooters but did see a few people on bicycles. However, the wait time for the carts at any point in the day was no more than 4-5 minutes. Unless you want to stay near the beach and pay extra if you don’t want to walk too much. But not a bad idea to have scooters for customers or allow personal scooters on the properties for transportation.

Great vid thx for sharing. Thinking about here for March. Was at the Bahia principe coba last year had a blast. My girls loved the food truck glad its there. So re the rooms they're not fully completed yet? Have to upgrade to newer ones correct? Cheers

Glad you enjoyed the tour. So not all rooms are remodeled, only the 2 floor villas near the pool area are the newly remodeled ones. The Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda is the one that is fully remodeled and family friendly. The luxury Ambar is the best out of all 6 resorts but it’s adults only. March is a great time especially for whale watching as an excursion. Enjoy my friend.

Honestly, they are sister resorts. The top one was the Luxury Ambar adults only if you don’t have kids. If you do, I would recommend the luxury Esmeralda which is newly remodeled and looks amazing. Have fun!

Well, I would say about 15 min. Also, don’t forget that they have the transportation carts that come every 3-5 min. So if you’re not into walking just wait and you’ll arrive before the walkers do.

Yes and no! The last day I was leaving I went to 3 ATM’s at all the Bahias to get money for the cleaning lady. No luck on finding one with cash. Had to get money at the airport and give to the driver that would give to the bellboy that would deliver it to the cleaning lady. So far the driver got some money, the bellboy too and still waiting on confirmation for the cleaning lady. Take dollar bills with you before you go. Enjoy!

Can you access all the resort even though you booked just one of them?

Yes,you can access the resorts but not eat drink or swim in them. Only if you have for exampke the higher end luxury versions resort like the Ambar or Esmeralda can you then drink and use the whole resort amenities. the food in the luxury a la cart are incredible compared to the regular resorts.

No, only the beach area food is shared between Grand Bavaro and the Grand punta cana which includes the beach buffet and the Trucker restaurant. Also the a la cart restaurant are shared but nothing to brag about.
