did you paint the bottom or did you sand & buff out the gel coat? I've gotta '78 sunkisst hull that needs work & debating whether to paint, buy a new hull ($9500+s&h) or find a v-drive.

Used Flocoat (basically a gelcoat that cures) then sanded it out snd polished. took a while and made a mess but bottom is perfect now.
