A little tip while reading Hindi that's written in English script ( Romanized). Whenever you have a word ending with n, you don't have to pronounce n fully, just a nasalized n will suffice, for example " bahon " read it baho + nasalized n ( not an absolute n ) and mein , read it me + little nasal n .....Actually in hindi we have a vowel for that nasalization.

So often I have to play some parts of her songs at half speed to hear what's going on. And to nobodys surprise, she sounds perfectly in sur even at half speed. For instance, the thing at 4:05 here. What a clean sweep! And she never let her dexterity become the most visible thing about her singing, that's perhaps why her art is so believable.

Devendra Dutt (Sanjeev Kumar) is a famous writer and a misogynist. One night, while returning from a meeting, he sees a young woman thrown out of a moving car. His uncle insists they take her home and get her medical attention. He hesitatingly agrees and takes her to their home. The next morning, the young woman (Jaya Bhaduri) regains consciousness but is suffering from amnesia. She can't remember anything except that she is married to Devendra. She can't remember anything from her past - not even her name except that she is Mrs. Dutt. Everyone tries to convince her otherwise, but she insists she is in her own home. Seeing her fragile state, Devendra and his uncle decide to let her stay until someone comes for her. They call her Anamika (meaning a woman with no name). this is the reason why he is being like that. he knows that she isn't his wife. he is NOT taking any advantage of her condition.

Rickrani & Korbinie Now If you have been introduced to these two. Watch their film "Koshish" means "Effort" wherein both of them have played dumb and deaf couple. Critically acclaimed movie with chilling performances.

Context is everything ..the male protagonist isn’t married to her or involved with her .Ashe plays a woman he found who was delusional because of trauma .He was trying to help her but obviously because he is a gentleman he wouldn’t take advantage of her under those conditions. Also he was trying to not attract attention hence the 🤫..

Sanjeev Kumar is one of the finest actors of Hindi cinema In this film he plays a writer who one night, while returning from a meeting, sees a young woman thrown out of a moving car. His uncle who is with him insists they take her home and get her medical attention. He hesitatingly agrees and takes her to their home. This injured woman when she regains consciousness doesn't remember anything but claims to be his wife... This song is at a point when he is starting to like her. The film plot is like a mystery twists ...on who really is she.... as they try and find out who she is. The film has some amazing songs including a superb cabaret number by THE Helen. ( Currently married to Salman Khan's father ...second wife.)

Jaya ji was such a talented actor herself.. Sadly she quit her profession for her responsibilities.. And for Sanjeev Kumar, I always found him a very versatile actor who could do any type of role with ease!! A true LEGEND indeed!!
