Interesting fact: In the end , when the battle was about to start the queen , bahubali and bhalal had a conversation with their opponent ! the language that that the black evil used was actually created for only that 1 minute convo by the scriptwriters and this language consists of 700 words and other grammer portions ! isn't it unique ! also he took less than a week to create a whole new language! this is what Indian movie viewers demand from Indian cinema!

the movie actaully released 2 yrs before the conclusion i mean the second part! and this suspense broke all our indians mind as to why kattappa the loyal general killed bahubali despite the fact he loved him so much! In india people were going crazy to know the fact behind it ! and people also use to make trolls on it ! this suspense broke Indians so much that the part 2 ( conclusion ) broke off all the records and is the highest grossing movies in india also made billions of inr's . u guys should definitely watch part 2 in order to get over to the fact !

We like all your REVIEWS and REACTIONS.... But being an INDIAN Kpopper and Kdrama fan I do respect KOREANS and their culture and of course you guys a lot. As of now I've watched many Kmovies and Kdramas which were way more Illogical and Silly than this, but because I've liked them I've never made fun of them. Why do every movie has to be compared to HOLLYWOOD or CHINESE stuff??? In each and every LINE you guys mentioned some HOLLYWOOD AND CHINESE stuff and did the COMPARISION which was quite unnecessary because every COUNTRY has its own STANDARDS. Those ARROW techniques etc., you guys mentioned looked like they were influenced from CHINESE movies, are definitely aren't cause usage of ARROWS and other stuff depicted in this FILM during the WAR scenes were the TECHNIQUES once upon a time used by our ANCIENT WARRIORS. Indians definitely have their own CULTURE and HISTORY of KINGS... Our MYTHS and EPICS are dated way back in the CENTURIES and we INDIANS have a very OLD HISTORY, one good and MOST RELATABLE EXAMPLE will be *LORD BUDDHA* who is WORSHIPPED by many people in this WORLD and also by many KOREANS, he is an INDIAN... The fact that *BUDDHISM* that originated in INDIA spread across many COUNTRIES proves how much INDIAN CULTURE and HISTORY influenced this WORLD. What you guys thought Impossible, Illogical and SILLY have actually happened in our EPICS... This STORY was also made on basis of our EPICS which actually existed. You guys definitely didn't look up the MEANING of the TITLE, it actually means 'PERSON WITH GREAT STRENGTH', that was the REASON why he could lift HEAVY STONE, and was OK even if he fell while climbing the WATERFALL.... its Kattapa not Kapata David😂 & when this movie was released in 2015,entire India trolls were flooded with like "Kattapa ne Bahubali ko kyun Mara?(meaning why kattapa killed Bahubali) people started making their own stories about the killings of kattapa to Bahubali😂😂😂(quite funny stories were being made by the people) & this trolls stayed fresh & alive for like complete 2years till the Conclusion was Released on April this year. Honestly being an Indian still i wasn't at all a fan of the Movie but people had so much craze for it even my Father did & me i was all drowned in the kpop world & the kdramas,Trust me,i watched Bahubali 1 just a day before the Conclusion was released😂 But Yes!You guys should definitely watch the Conclusion cause its far more better than the 1st one & the critic reviews were also far better.1st one made me laugh a bit but The Conclusion made me cry really hard.My eyes just kept on weeping & weeping in the 2nd half

Bahubali itself means a man with immense power more than a normal human so nothing funny about those scenes since he is not a normal human anyway. Also, i know its human behaviour to compare something alien to something you know but i don't think you know about indian culture enough to make that comment. arrows aren't specific to chinese culture, such war tactics have been mentioned in our epics which date back to 3000 bc so im sure the director didn't get influenced(not that its a bad thing). also, i think you misunderstood the undressing scene a bit. it was a metaphor for bringing out her feminine side under the facade of a warrior. anyway, thanks for liking it guys. :)

You are right bahubali and his son are the same person , the actor has been so into the character that since he started the bahubali movie he didn't accept any other offer to do another movie you will Notice the change of his body and the sequel " the conclusion " don't want to spoil anything but the end part will be the beginning of the sequel so just incase you will be confused . I think if you see some of the ground realities you would have a much deeper appreciation for this film... the movie comes from Telugu film industry which is one of the regional Cinema in a language spoken only in 2 of the 29 Indian states... the scale of this story required a huge budget (4 to 5 times the usual budget per film compared to the big budget films of Telugu film industry)by this local film industry standards, so they decided to make it a multi lingual movie... none of the actors were well known outside these two states... the producers took a serious risk by trusting the story n the director's vision... the film is made on a budget of roughly $27 million USD... that's why some of the CGI work isn't up to the mark... but for a regional film to aim this high is unprecedented... part 1 did very well, so part 2 had a budget of close to $39 million USD, so it has better effects... few scenes are still below Hollywood standards, but if you understand how daring an attempt this was and the fact that the movie is shot mostly in Hyderabad at Ramoji film City... you will realize the struggle n the achievement of this movie... the movie is number 1 grosser of all time at Indian box office n has set records in all languages it's released in... no other movie has done this till date... anyway thank you for the honest review... looking forward to your reaction on Bahubali - The conclusion

I dont think you should compare bollywood(even though bahubali is tollywood not bollywood) to Hollywood or even Chinese movies.When it comes to fantasy movies there tends to be more exaggeration..and some Indians enjoy how out of the world these movies are and this movie had a lot of referencing to hindu myths which you probably didnt get.But I mean come on Hollywood has unrealistic stuff too ..I mean fast and furious 7,transformers etc.. +This movies cgi obviously isnt as good as avatar because of budgets..but I mean I've seen some Chinese movies with not so good cgi too.There are soo many bollywood movies that are realistic like 3 idiots or dangal but I wouldn't expect much realism from a fantasy/historical type movie base on myths.

I think, it was even difficult for Indians to make sense of the movie initially...(it happened With me atleast and i think thats the beauty of the movie* probably thats what the director wanted) but as you go on, it becomes clearer. In both Bahubali I and II, i love the scene when in Bahubali II, Bahubali junior shoots an arrow through the girl's ear dangles!

About the strength part, I guess in olden times people were stronger than us cause they would do more physical stuff. So that's why the strength shown in the movie is not weird. Also he didn't throw the god in water but he said you were putting the water so now you don't need to do it, it'll automatically happen. Also this movie is based on ancient Indian Myths and not Chinese or Hollywood thing, It's sort of based on the olden India where their were Kingdoms and Battles for power

actually what parts you find funny are slightly private scenes.(very much like private jokes) for to understand them you have to get to know Indian culture and it's mythologies. otherwise they'll seem weird to outsiders. actually when we indians see movies from China or Korea or other places. we laugh. and feel weird. it's just we don't understand the culture. like Conjuring 2. itwas supposed to be a horror movie but when I was watching it in cinemas for half the part we were laughing at the scenes instead of hetying scared.

Exactly... :-D I find the extra-hard discipline and how seriously they take the martial-art competitions among schools in Chinese movies, a bit funny.. it's like life and death depends on it.. although I do understand the deep philosophy behind it but still it's a bit funny just because I'm a foreigner.. I mean our dronacharya-Pandava/Kaurava relationship is celebrated too, but Chinese student-teacher relationship is on whole another level :-P

You guys should check out some of the movies that come out of Bengal- from Aasha Jawar Majhe- which is silent, to Bhooter Bhavishyot- which means the future of the ghosts and just keep going from there. Bollywood deals mainly with Hindi movies but movies are made in almost every regional language and represent a vast majority of the sub cultures that exist in the country.Try those two though and see how it goes!

Yeah actually that dancing sequence bw Bahubali Jr. & Avantika wasn't about marriage or something. People fail to notice one scene where Avantika is looking at her reflection in the water where she feels somewhat sad about the fact that she doesn't look like a girl, she knows she has a mission but still feel a little bit sad. That's what Bahubali Jr. was trying to do. He was introducing her to her real beauty. That is why when he changed her look & she saw her reflection again she is somewhat shocked & happy as well. Just wanted to correct this point & other than that I really liked your reaction I had similar kind of problems from the 1st Bahubali but 2nd part is a must watch. 2nd Bahubali is great (it made me forget about all the flaws may be present in this project)

baahubali truly is a great movie for me cause it was totally a differnt experience cause i mostly watch bollywood films in which plot is not that good but they are nice wheras tollywood movies, action is pretty impressive and plot is really good that's the reason they are becoming more popular than bollywood cause they have story rather than dancing and music whereas bollywood films have only music and dancing but there are few exception like dangal,bajrangi bhaijan, pk , 3 idots ,taare zameen par which were great movies

Please react to Bahubali 2 .. and yea they did not marry in that scene u mentioned . Bahubali was trying to show the female side of herself to the heroine by dressing her in a more feminine way. He used berries to do her makeup. He wanted to show her how beautiful and feminine she looked as she originally is a fighter and dresses pretty much up as a man. Indians culture is even older than 10,000 years , we hv documents of Kings who ruled over these years and WAR strategy scriptures that desribes weopens and army strategies etc in detail . . .charaters like Katappa and Devasena and Ballaldeva is half resembles from Mahabharat ( Ancient India World war scripture ) . first half even i was confused but after all Bahubali is derived actually from the book Mahishmati Kingdom , but once the movie goes to flash back , i understood the plot of this movie series , movie will be released in 3 parts , yes . . .3 part will come later . and i can understand as foreigner , it must hv been difficult for u as well to adjust to Indian movies , we are proud of our South Movie Industry . but now Bahubali has become the Brand overseas as well. anywz guys i like ur review . . .very Natural and open review . . looking forward for more such reviews . It's a Tollywood(Telungu/south Indian) movie.. not bollywood.. nd too Telungu movies are usually too dramatic..like dat 200 metres, dat rope nd all.. Bt here the highlight is the theme.. And Bahubali for them (people)is not just a usual man, he is like a God to them nd he can do anything.. He is wise and technical knowledge, so he can lead his country..

I also recommend that you watch Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. It is a Bollywood movie with a great story. I've also heard amazing things about Dhangal but I have yet to watch it. Dhangal is currently the highest grossing Indian film worldwide. Hopefully I watch it soon!

The story of Baahubaali is mythical and religious so obviously he had certain strengths that no other humans had. In the first movie the mother did tell the Hindu God which I think is Lord Shiva to look after her son and keep him alive, and she held him up with the power of God until someone saved the child. This clearly shows that God had given him idk power or whatever. His ability to jump over things and climb up stuff and not dying while falling shows that he is blessed with idk spiritual powers. This is the reason why you think it may be exaggerating a lot but if you actually watched the movie properly you would know that baahubaali was granted special skills so.....

Well there so many elements in the movie that I think only an Indian or a native people can understand. E.g. it was a mythological drama (generally told in terms of stories). Which is fictitious in nature than reality. Just like old chinese movies but characters are not flying like chinese or korean movies. No offenses but I think you guys either should watch it in your native dubbed version or not make up any out of the blue version on your own.

The girl fell for bahubali after knowing that he climbed up the huge mountain which is not possible and he shows the mask as proof which the girl lost in the water falls.Thats more likely to happen when the girl went through hard times and has mixed feelings for her life.You watched it and no doubt you didn't understand it completely.No hard feelings because I heard people saying the movie is very good but the dialogues and the songs are not good,just ok,and is actually true when I checked in one other language it is dubbed into.Its an epic in telugu language.So I learned something- movies lose their originality when dubbed because they are made for locals who can connect to them.Every character is named aptly which can be understood only by,again,the locals.I am just striving to make one thing clear-Unless you know the language and watch the film,its going to be funny.Bahubali is more than visual treat.Its the heart felt feeling of Andhra Pradesh.

Yep, that scene with Shivdu and Avantika (where they make love/get married, whatever) really made me cringe so bad and cry out "STAAPPPHH!!!" in my mind. It was so fucking uncomfortable to watch, and seemed awfully creepy. The only part of the two movies combined that I hated.

I'm an Indian and i've watched the movie too, I appreciate their review and i understand their perspective to. they are not mocking the movie and whats the big deal with them comparing to hollywood, they are not indian s they will compare to what they are used to or understand they are not saying that the movie should be like korean or hollywood movies they are just sharing their thoughts. and anyway we as indians have to admit it, Indian movies are really dramatized and often illogical and don't follow a pattern that western or non Indian people are used to and plus these guys dont know about the indian movie industry so somethings they don't know or understand rather then getting angry it can be explained politely and if they see other indian films they would understand them better. Im an indian and i also found the things that they mentioned quite funny and like them i also like the flashback part of the movie too. people need to learn how to put them selves in the shoes of others instead of getting so pissed. these guys are lovely guys and they are genuine and wouldn't intentionally choose to make a review to mock something from another culture. But haters will be haters so what can you do. The courting and love making scene that u mentioned created huge controversy when the movie was released as it implied stalking and rape to us women. you should really watch bahubali 2. the second one had a much bigger budget coz of the first one's success, so you'll find better cgi :P The flashback is honestly the best part, and it continues well into the second movie too!

Bahubali is based on demi god powered characters from indian mythology Ramayana and Mahabaratha. the director is not influenced from Chinese just bcoz they use arrows .. And they did not get married, u completely misinterpreted the scenes

you so see bahubali 2 it's a awesome movie but the transition between the two periods is shitty. but the battle scenes are awesome. hope you guys enjoy it.
