i like this part. It really shows xu kai's acting has matured because for a man in his early 20's he can show emotion of a man that just wants his son to call him father. He did not over act the part. He did it sublimely.

There is novel "Hidden God". It is story about Yuan Qi. And some chapter show Bae Jue and Yuan Qi interaction which off course sadness 😭. I guest sad story must be their fate. The most powerful immortal.

Well, there's a reason why he went through great pains to have Shang Gu cut her love for him. And let's not forget that back then, Shang Gu have to sacrifice herself, and Bai Jue was left all alone first. In the end, it is how it is, he can't just sit back and do nothing on his end, his love for her comes with his sacrificial love for her, to protect her. So depends on how you see it.

i believe so. YQ probably guessed frm the short conversation flashback . He is smart. I believe thats why he accept Bai Que apology, believe him & call him father god. Sincerity would not lie. he knows the "Feng ran" that has always play with him so sincerely make him happy, teach, concern abt him is actually his dad.. One time outing doesnt mean a lot but time & love invested do the Feng Ran that he vow to marry ! HAHAH good thing too if not FR will be in trouble
