Nice.We in south India,rub oul on the Mota Raiganj and sometime prick it and roast t on the gas stove,tossing and turning it till the skin wrinkles.That way too is nice.This method also nice

You can roast it on gas also. Without roasting baingan bartha is only baingan ka baji.

Roast nahi karte😮. Myje laga restaurant mein bhune ke baad banate honge. Ghar pe hum waise banate hain. Ye easy laga recipe 😊 thankyou

Yes in us if we roast in gas it won’t cook that’s why it has to be boil in hotbwater

Hum ise bilkul simple tarike se banate hai. Gas burner per roast karne ke baad keera check karo or jala chilka alag . fir karai may tel garam karne ke baad sirf pyaj or tamater ke sath baingan ko dalna hota hai ( matar optional)fir sirf namak or lal mirch. Lahsun, adrak,haldi, or baki ke masale swad bigar dete hai.

Baingan ki subzi hai yeh. Bhurta khasiyat hai woh burnt smell. No dhaniya or zeera powder is put. And no lehsun either .

I am sorry but this recipe was not that good. The whole fun of eating baigan bharta is the smokey flavor it has. I think it is better to put a metal mesh on gas stove and roast on very low flame or but ghee on hot burning bowl and then put lid on top. There is no baigan bharta without the smokey flavor, this is just normal baigan sabzi

You people put too much haldi,not good beyond a point.Put quarter tea spoon in any curry/daal.

Bhrta jb tk bhuna na ho tb tk uska maja nhi.. Vese isme koyla dal kr dhua de dena chaiye tha... But swaad to hoga ye bhi i am sure 😊❤

The brinjals are really small. Correctly speaking each brinjal should weigh 600-700gms and should be dark purple or almost black skin.We always grill them never boil them. No tomatoes only curd. Also you have not added spring onions, fresh green garlic. I will not be making this recipe.
