I had an Alto k10 AMT which logged more than 90000km in 6yrs.I had to do only routine maintenance,ie ,oil change filter change and so on.No major complaints. AMT gearbox never gave me any problem. I think many drivers don't shift gear to N position in traffic signals.This can cause damages to clutch disc.

മാരുതി Spresso AMT 3 വർഷമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. വണ്ടി എടുത്ത് 10000 കിലോമീറ്റർ തികയുന്നതിന് മുന്നേ 2 പ്രാവശ്യം ബ്ലോക്കിൽ പെട്ടു. ഒരു പെരുന്നാൾ തലേന്ന് കോട്ടക്കൽ അങ്ങാടിയിലും പിന്നീടൊരിക്കൽ താമരശ്ശേരി ചുരത്തിലും. ഈ 2 പ്രാവശ്യവും ഏകദേശം 10 മിനിറ്റ് ആയപ്പോൾ എൻജിൻ warning വന്നു. ഇപ്പൊ വണ്ടി കയറ്റത്തിലൊക്കെ നിർത്തി എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ വിറക്കും. പ്രഷർ പ്ളേറ്റ് പോയതാണെന്നാ പറഞ്ഞേ. എന്തായാലും ഇപ്പൊ 55,000 km ആയി. ഇതുവരെ മാറ്റിയിട്ടില്ല. ലാഗിങ് ഇത്തിരി കൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ മാരുതിയുടെ സർവീസിൽ അത്ര സാറ്റിസ്‌ഫൈഡ് അല്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ട് അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു പോകുന്നു. അല്ല പിന്നെ.

I AM USING A BALENO ALPHA AMT SINCE 2022 AND HAVE CLOCKED 27000 KMS TILL DATE. I HAVE NOT COME ACROSS ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE AMT TRANSMISSION. ACTUALLY THE NEW AMT TRANSMISSION IN THIS CAR IS BETTER THAN WHAT THE GUY IN THIS VIDEO COMMENTED ABOUT HIS OLDER AMT IN SWIFT. IN THE LATEST MARUTI SUZUKI AMT THERE IS NO HEAD NOD, LESS LAG AND IS REALLY FUN TO DRIVE. I HAVE USED BRANKDS LIKE FORD, HYUNDAI AND KIA IN THE PAST AND BALENO'S AMT IS FAR BETTER THAT KIA'S IMT. HAVE GONE MANY LONG TRIPS IN BALENO AND IS FULLY SATISFIED WITH ITS AMT TRANSMISSION.

problem with the AMT: we will get so angry while you are driving an AMT in cities, that much boring and sluggish.... if you floor it, noise will only come, it doesn't move what we expected. When you are driving in the cities with traffic jams, the clutch overheats, and which can cause performance degradation, and it has creep function issues.........................................

I used a Celerio AMT for six years, and within the first two months, I understood its acceleration flaws and other issues. Keeping those in mind while driving makes a lot of sense. I'm not expecting performance like a DCT or torque converter.

@@noushadkk388 Jimny is more practical and is as capable as 3 door Thar in offroad..3 door Thar is not a practical car..5 door Thar is practical.However the offroad capability of 5 door Thar will be less than 3 door Thar and 5 door Jimny..So as a practical offroader Jimny still holds more value than even a 5 door Thar..
