I agree. This was not in my list while i was considering. Then i got this for a test drive and took it to a 10km road which was comparable to moon surface in terms of potholes and ruts.. this just went over everything like a magic carpet.. I decided this was it.. though it was twice my budget.. i also own a 10 year old freelander so it was tough for me to get accustomed to anything else, but Jeep Meridian won me over.. now let me see what the rest of the ownership experience has in store

Well appointed seats , but the luggage space is inadequate for a travel of 7 persons. Min 500 ltr is desirable. Otherwise it will only be a city commute , which it’s not intended. If one needs to fold the seats then it’s as good as a 5 seater ONLY.
