Bailey Phoenix 650 review

The Phoenix Plus from Bailey is a good upgrade on the 2020 version - it looks a far better tourer. I look at the 650 5 berth with an MTPLM of just over 1400 kgs so its light weight yet comes with a decent spec check out my opinion on the 2022 #bailey #Phoenix www.baileyofbristol.co.uk

Still no long shots of the inside for a better view. Well done though you've sorted the focus problem. No high brake light no bathroom window. Looks like a good van overall, liked your Truma v Alde comment.

Are you after exterior long or interior ones? ah yes focus getting better - no high brake light or window though windows going back on Unicorn yep Alde has a bit of a snob value to it I feel - truma has never let me down

Very good report I agree with all points plus one. The sink I wish Bailey would fit square or oblong sinks like Coachman do think space wise they would give you more worktop space.

Bailey used to fit the square sinks from Peg 1's then moved away from them thanks as ever for your comments

Another good video review, Andrew. I agree the "slider" rear table would have been better, and probably cost virtually nothing for Bailey to have fitted it.And as we have said before, all caravans are a compromise between price/weight/layout/finish/extras etc. This one, for a family and at that price, seems a reasonable deal.

Another good review Andrew and it's a good van. Personally, I never liked the dark materials in the Phoenix, but it's got better - just the worktops now that let it down. I'd sacrifice that vertical cupboard in the kitchen for a tall fridge, but you would need the worktop extension to compensate. As you say, the Truma Combi is great. Our new van has Alde but I'd be happy with either system.

Thank you Paul I think that work top is needed otherwise the tall fridge Alde is good though to of my friends had pump issues lucky they had electric fan heaters but Truma lot better these days than in my van which is old version though it does the job thanks for your comments as always

In agreement I think sprite are still the best at this price but the bailey has a nice homely feel. Just parted with my 21 year old stirling for a 5 year old Sprite . not as good quality ( locker catches sticking bowed shelves) and so on.

Yes Keith Sprite still the benchmark in this price bracket but the Phoenix plus is a better van than original - hope you have a good service with the Sprite as the Sterling more reviews to come up thank you for watching
