Bailey Unicorn Vigo 2017 Mark 3 Caravan for sale at Bardsea Leisure

My wife and I enjoy looking at caravans especially the Bailey Unicorn Range. So we are going to highlight a Bailey Unicorn Vigo 2017 Mark 3 Caravan that is for sale at Bardsea Leisure a place we often visit. Bardsea Leisure is in Ulverston, Cumbria.
We bought our caravan from this dealer and like all of their customers, we enjoyed 2 free nights on their campsite. It is a great service because the staff are on hand 7 days a week to iron out any issues and for anybody new to the pleasure of caravanning, they offer plenty of advice during your stay.
The one thing we notice when looking around any dealership, is that all the detachable equipment in new or used caravans and motor homes is detached and stored away. With new caravans you know what is supplied by the manufacturer because it is listed in the brochure. On pre owned models you don't. So when we look around them, we don't know what comes with them and some have more equipment than new models, making them a great value buy.
We come up with the idea that all second hand caravans and motor homes should have a inventory and it should be on view for the customers information. Even something as simple as a tick the box list stuck to the work top. After all it would save the staff from answering endless questions about what comes with the caravan and they can't keep track of everything.
Then we thought, picture of the content left in the caravan by the previous owner would be helpful and that could be on the information sheet.
Then we thought the ultimate customer aid would be to have a QR code on the information sheet to a KZbin video of the content being left with the caravan.
We ran this concept past one of the sales staff and he challenged us to show him our concept. So we took up the challenge and this KZbin video was made. After receiving a comment on this video, we decided to added an additional information sheet to included the shower mat, the round washing up drainer that acts as an work service when it is inserted in the sink and the chopping board that also fits in the sink. For anybody new to towing, we added the offer of free driving advice on towing this caravan. We after all driving instructors in a past life.

Hello UsefulWisdom, first of all I want to say I like your videos a lot, I appreciate your effort to share your experience with others. So my comment is not an irony, just trying to understand the purpose of this video. Are you selling the caravan? If so, wouldn’t it be more efficient to show the caravan, which you want to sell, rather than toothbrush caps, fridge trays and plastic caps on the floor? Or do I miss anything here? Hi idolezal. Caravans and motor homes, new or used are usually displayed at dealerships stripped of their detachable content. What we are proposing is to have all the information, on display in some form or other, in these caravan or motor homes. We have used video to do this as a concept of good practice. Pictures on an information sheet is another. Even at tick the box sheet of content being stored that is left with the caravan would be better than nothing.

Hi idolezal. If you were looking at 2 identical caravans at the same price and one had an Al-Co wheel lock and the other did not, which one would you buy? Problem for the buyer is usually they don't know what is left with second hand caravans. We are trying to change that. Now you are in a caravan that is for sale and there is an information sheet of the contents, now you have all the facts. If there is a QR code to a video like this one, even better.

Hi UsefulWisdom and thank you for your reply. Now I understand. Of course I would choose the better equipped one. I'm going to sell my RV soon and will base the selling strategy on fact that it's fully equipped, ready to go car. From my point of view, I would not go in such a detail, I would rather show oven and while showing it, would explain what oven related equipment is included, the same for the fridge, etc. Maybe I would add the second video showing the caravan itself. You have a great advantage, that you know the caravan well and the video can include some tips and tricks on how to use it. I'm thinking to do a video to support sales of my one as well. But its just my idea. Once more, I like your videos. Thanks for what you do for others

Hi idolezal. The concept is you are in England at Bardsea Leisure Caravan dealership in Cumbria, in this caravan and it is for sale amusing many other caravans. It is stripped of its equipment and you see an information sheet with a QR code. The information sheet has pictures of what is in storage. You use the QR code to take you to this KZbin video. I know it would help me if I were a potential buyer. I will make a video to explain my idea better. If like you I were selling from home, I would make a totally different video because the viewer in not in your RV. But what is included in the RV sale could be highlighted. It all has a value.

Hi saltyseascott. If you mean we are kidding about looking in the caravans fuse box for information, no we are not. It is the quickest ways to find out what electrical equipment a caravan has fitted to it.
