Interval means the intermission. So interval fight scene usually means the fight scene before the intermission. Most commercial films have a scene that picks a punch before the intermission to get viewers hyped up for the 2nd half. Either it could be a fight scene or a badass phone conversation with the villain, or a death, etc basically something that captures the audience to the edge of their seat.

Your reactions were priceless, basically this whole scene is about a girl trying to get justice for a corporation that did her wrong, so some guy she knew with political connections tried to give her a USB containing things that would expose the company, the flower boquet contained the usb but the guy giving it to her got his hand cut off by those goons, so she explained this to this other guy who likes her and he decides to take it upon himself to help her. So he gets the flowers (with the USB) and makes his way to give it to her, the goons try to kill him, he proves to the girl that he's a force to be reckoned with by beating them all up. And then after that fight, on the phone he tells the main villain that he's gonna come at him with all he's got, and if he thinks he can stop him that to bring all that the villain has. Vijay is basically challenging that corporation to kill him before he brings them down. I tried to explain that as shortly as I could, hopefully it helps haha.

the plot is that he is head over heels for the girl. the girl has some information about the villain so the villain has agreed goons who would kill or wound anyone and everyone she meets. so at the start of the scene, she warns him about goons who would kill him and for his safety he has to leave.
