It’s funny how u can think you’re doing things right but are doing the total opposite. Leave the lid off the wafters, leave em to go as hard as possible. They’ll shrink slightly. If you can push a bait spike in them easily, they’re too soft👍

I see your point King Fisher, but my comments related to keeping them fresher longer. Letting them dry out means they will turn to dust sooner as all things that go stale do, and they are perfectly usable straight from the tub banded or spiked. The video was not aimed at advanced anglers but anglers looking to save a bit of cash and reuse bait.

@@MatchfishingTVUK lol. They don’t turn to dust or go stale. They do become more buoyant and negate the weight of the hook. Watch Steve Fotheringham on the guru podcast, a master on the feeder, he explains it better👍

It's good and lasts for ages. You can also make effective boilies from it with a bit of flavouring after you've ground right down. I add a bit of peanut butter and make a few up when I take my old man for a bit of lazy carp fishing!
