One Piece has some of Toei's best directors and well known big animators are working on it on a regular basis, more than on WT and other Toei series. Just look at the recent episodes like 1006, 1004, 1001, 1000, etc. All of them had movie quality cuts. Wano looks consistently amazing and even Oda and other industry people share this sentiment. You can't be this blind and delusional.

it's not the only one. The author says a Black Trigger gives +30 in Trion Level , and a standard trion warrior had Trion Level of 7. Meaning that Chika's normal triggers had the same output of a Black Trigger.

Thinking about it, Chika is basically a miniature tank - She’s not fast, but have enough Trion to completely shield all her surroundings - She have enough Trion to shoot the big guns like her known beam cannon, barrage of arty, heat-seeking missiles, and throws a literal Meteor

It's 2v1 or 3v1 or 4v1 against her. Basically , half of the group would force her on the defense , while the other half breaks her shield and score.

There was one, its name was S4 League... Look it up and you will see the resemblance. Everybody could bring 3 weapons (from energy rifles to snipers to meele blades etc), and one skill. And I KID YOU NOT, some of the skills were LITERALLY Escudo, Chameleon, Shield, Kuga's black trigger Chain, and everybody had Grasshopper at all times. For real.

So at least he can cover for his weaknesses. Chika is that person on your team that camps whole game and every now and again records an assist but 0 kills.

@@YM-pe2ul osamu tactics are not that good, thats the great thing about world trigger, the character development its realistic, one bit at a time, he seems top tier compared to how he was at the begining, and he is reciently having some insights into his rivals that have turned the match, but as of now, hyuse has better strategies than osamu most of the time, chika its having real growth, facing one's weakness and comunicating its hard, most people cant do it

@@Necrotaku999 yes hyuse appears to be a better tactician that osamu. That may be because he knows his own capabilities and does not hesitate to ask for more from his squad mates. Osamu's thoughtfulness/kindness holds him back. For instance, Hyuse was the first to address the Chika issue seriously. We maybe over 100 eps in (i think season 1 was 72 eps, season 2 12 eps and season 3 12 eps) and Osamu has done little to make Chika has more impact on the battlefield. So Hyuse is better due to his frankness. While Osamu tries to accommodate more. But Osamu was the first to recognize the flaw in the op neighbour that could convert u into a trio cube. With all those A-leaguers about no one thought about that. Osamu deserves more credit than he gets

So this clip is literally my first exposure to this show. Could someone who watches it explain to me why her shield blocked his shot but his shield couldn't block theirs? It looked like they both were using sniper rifles

Late, so I don't know if this is all that helpful, but 1) Chika (girl) has a lot of "Trion" (Energy level), so her shield is a lot stronger/more durable than others. 2) Tono (the blond guy) was using an "Egret" (at least I think it was, considering its shape), a sniper rifle that focuses on range more than power... so it would be less likely to break a shield 3) Oki (Sniper with hat) was using an "Ibis", a sniper rifle that focuses on power, so it can break through a shield. In order to defend against Ibis, you'd either need two small/focused shields or Trion levels like Chika to effectively block its shot.

Yeah, apart from her having the highest trion level in the series, there are three sniper rifle models. Lightning focuses on speed and precision with low damage (power increases bullet speed), Egret is for balanced sniping (power increases range) and Ibis is for shield cracking (power increases damage). He shot with Egret, then got taken out with Ibis.

All these factors cause trigger users to build bad habits that will inevitably cause their death in a real life battle : They don't take cover in a shoot-out, they rush at their opponent out in the open. They don't pay attention to getting cornered atop a building because they can simply jump off, etc... Well trained soldiers they are, but not for IRL modern warfare

some time ago an alien race that were called neighbor atack the city and kidnapped a ton of people, then tis organization called Border were created to train "soldiers" and prevent it from happen again. This is one of the training that they have, the ranking games; where they fight againts other teams to get more experience and ascend in the "army"

mix of both, so when fighters fight in this universe they use a pseudo body made of energy and what you see is a "bail out" so when they get depleted on energy its basically a recall/lifeline function to avoid capture by actual enemies

It's a training battle in a virtual environment. In actual battles they're a lot more cautious about property damage and try to evacuate danger zones - except for areas where no one lives anymore, where they go wild.

There's this organization fighting forces from another dimension/realm? of which main characters are a part of. So far there were individual monster attacks and 2 invasions + a filler arc. A chunk of season 1, whole of 2 and 3 covers a tournament called Rank Wars that determines rankings of individual teams in B-Rank. Rank Wars are important for main character because it's a potential ticket to get on expedition to said realm (and each one of them has a reason for which they want to go)... Also it's cool to see different teams and their fighting styles clashing. Or... as a wise man said: "we have enemies named neighbours, they attack the earth so humans hafta protect it and a lot of stuff happens"

this is like a combat training/tournament arc in order to train their soldiers, the reason why they're all okay is in this world they generate bodies made of energy that replaces their real one until energy is depleted or body is destroyed. All people have this energy innate in them some more than others but basically people get kidnapped to be used as fuel. So they train as squads in order to fight off invaders or invade themselves as well as get promotions in their organization.
