You didn't really sell the baby survivor part very well. Baby survivors never look back, still run into objects, never hold check points, and always drop a pallet when being chased if one is nearby. Average chase time = 9 seconds. That's what your first hook should look like if you wanted to be baby survivor.

I know you're good on chase, pathing and etc etc But i gotta say, 9 ping really saved your ass multiple times against the Freddy and also saved an few hits from the Nurse

Knowing how to play with, and what vaults to take or or pallets to drops with your ping and the killer’s ping is actually another skill. For example: vaulting or dropping a pallet preemptively against a killer you’ve known to be laggy. In the video, when Hens is going against Freddy, he is holding an already safe check-spot (extra safe with resilience) in shack for the window vault, and he knew when to vault to avoid the hit. If the killer were laggy it very well could’ve been an issue where he got hit through the window, but that wasn’t an issue with this specific killer. Obviously good ping is an advantage, but it’s also something you can learn to play around.

@@coppertips This isn't old DBD anymore, where the killer being laggy mattered something because the killer used to be the host of the matches. If anything, if the Freddy on 10:34 were actually laggy, it would only make it easier for Hens to jump the window safely because Hens ping is def better than Freddy. The thing is, right on 10:34 for example if Hens ping were to be something like 20-30 he would definitely be hit by that Freddy like mostly players would, the low ping allowed him to hesitate as much as he needs to and still jump the windows unharmed, and because of that Hens was able to make an comeback on Freddy of 2 downs, if he had a little bit of more ping like mostly players he wouldn't be able to hesitate for mind-games like he did and would definitely be hit by Freddy there that would prob lead to everyone in the match dying. Just an example how low ping can carry whole games and there's no "Knowing how to play around it" since the window of time on a "high ping" player will always be worse than an "low ping player" and it won't allow the "high ping player" commit as many "mistakes" as the low ping player can.

@@Lord0Link Blame the devs, they previously had a really good emblem system then completely trashed it for this hidden MMR based solely on kills vs escapes. Now the ash to iridescent "ranks" are just a goalpost with a bloodpoint reward every reset, it's very dumb.

@@Lord0Link It's a "grade" system instead of "rank", it used to be rank, but now you can't actually go down, only up. It resets on the 13th of every month and gives you a bloodpoint reward based on how high you get each of the two grades, up to 1 million each for Iri 1. The actual MMR is much more complex and completely hidden. I'd recommend checking the wiki for details on how it works, but because there is no clearly defined win or loss state in DBD, it works in some really stupid ways. Like if you want to raise your rank as survivor, you're encouraged to play more selfish since your MMR is only affected by if you yourself escape or not. It's REALLY dumb.

Mr. Guy, you can't pretend to be a baby just by pathing a bit suboptimally. You still show to have good map knowledge by running like that. Hens me and you have had some arguments on game balance before but I just want to say that I do respect you and think you are great content creator but the only thing I don’t like that I stand by is how you and otz back the whole stigma of tunneling and camping, I don’t believe there should be any sort of stigma around using these strategies as it leads to entitlement from the survivor community and even if you win most survivors will try to gaslight you into saying your win wasn’t legit because of using said strategies. The stigma exists because it is a shitty and unfun playstyle to play against. Literally every game on earth has stigma against strategies that people find unfun to play against. Nobody is responsible for it, and nobody can get rid of it. If ur gonna use a strat that you know people think is shit to play against, be prepared for people to be upset at you using it. And yes, it is flat out easier to win when you tunnel someone, so ofc people are going to call you unskilled for it. Tunneling a soloq (or even a regular non comp swf) survivor is easy, because the survivors do not know how to counter it, and even when they do know, it is simple unfun to play against. You can either keep doing it and recognize that no matter what people will think ur shit, or u can play in a more skill expressive and fun playstyle. I am a killer main, btw, so don't call me an "entitled survivor."
