If you are oblivious, you can't hear the heartbeat. But blindness can't see auras. Object of Obsession can help a lot when you are oblivious because you can see the killers aura.

13:30 if the killer is undetectable object of obsession will still light up and give the 6% extra action speed boost. Weave attunement was light up because you were oblivious. Weave atunement gives you 20 seconds of oblivious when you pick up a item. You wont be able to see the killers aura when hes undetectable but ooo will still still light up and give you the info of the killer being undetectable. Hope that helps

13:35 The symbol at the bottom also appears when you are affected by the oblivious status affect from picking up an item. There will actually be two symbols if you are both in range for aura and affected by the oblivious. So likely, he was not undetectable

Most players aren't good enough to get consistent value out of OoO. It primarily favors experienced players, but is a great tool for intermediate players to get practice looping, and using that information to strengthen the team through comms. Beginners will really struggle with it, and using it would be a form of self torture.

Object and Plunderers Instinct are great counters to weave realistically you don’t wanna use OoO against stealth killers while plunderers allows you to see chests AND “ITEMS ON THE GROUND.” So you know where to avoid or exactly where the items are allowing you to easily find them pick them up and remove them from areas that you wouldn’t want them to be like placing it on a corner of the map instead so the killer can’t get any value from it. Also a lot of survivors that get hit from franklins either don’t care about their item after it depletes or forget where it was dropped. So that annoying item on the ground near the gen you keep trying to work on you can now see with (P,I) rather than looking through the grass for 5 mins because you don’t want a killer having endless Aura reading at important areas.

this one vecna had Weave, when i had brought Object, just in case the killer had aura perks and such, i also had Resi. I quickly realized into the match, he had franklins and weave, he hit and ran from me first chase, i went back to pick up my flashlight, then dropped it near a gen (i was still injured from the hit and run) I had a free 15% speed boost to my repairing because of Resi+Object activating from the Weave perk, and it was cool, I never thought about those free speed boosts until that moment lol. strong combo, and counter, free speed boosts for a lot of interactions, and wall hacks 😅

Yeah, using OoO against Weave Attunement has to be synced. Ideally, all 4 survivors should have it and be setting up items with Dramaturgy ideally for mapwide wallhacks. If only 1 survivor has it, the other 3 are basically being griefed by their teammate and sadly very likely won't even be aware that they are being griefed. The more I think about Weave Attunement, the more I realize it's very poorly designed and is in desperate need of a rework.

What about pairing this with flashbang? Ig its a bit annoying that you have to do generators first. But you could put them down multiple loops in a row for a setup, which probably takes way to long, by the time you have it set up the game will be almost over, but you can atleast hold a medkit and a flashbang so you can do it two times if you need to leave the loop

If an entire team was running object of obsession then it would hard counter Weave but when only one player does it then it usually results in the other 3 players dying then the OoO player dies last. Unless the killer is a total moron and tries to fixate on the one player who obviously wants to be chased.

i don't think so, on certain loops survivors can shift tech and never enter chase so the windows never blocks and the killer never bloodlusts, on weaker killers the only thing they can do is wait till the survivor make a mistake but then again this is so specific it shouldnt be a problem
