Baitings Reservoir, Ripponden(ish)

September 2022, Due to a very dry summer the old packhorse bridge to the hamlet of Baitings is completely uncovered, Considering the reservoir was completed in 1956 it’s in great condition.

Loving these videos ! Perhaps one of the greatest civil engineering feats of the 1960's , building the M62 along that stretch . Seven years to make seven miles at a cost of seven million pounds .
