Knee still hurts, all bruised up, but what can ya do?! And, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on the "reality" of the new ponds I gained access to - I love em!! ... But man... there's been plenty of trips out there with nothing to show for my efforts but a few dinks - a lot like this video, go figure!! 😅

Did you have fun getting out even though fell? Thank God you didn't get hurt or fall in the water. Those are beautiful jigs. Thanks for the videos. God Bless to You and Yours.

Remember the flukes that we talked about: Pearl white with a clear belly black, red, or silver in the clear. Do you think that you can make a batch for me and I'll pay all of the costs.

So glad you and B8N_TACKLE done this collaboration. It's great to see how your styles though different they definitely complement each other. You both came up with great baits. An as far as copying some bass fisherman I might pick Bill Dance also. Be blessed. My friend.

Looks like a good trip. How many coats of Sally Hanson hardener do you put on your jig heads? Thanks
@SDGCustomLurecraft Жыл бұрын
In the past I’ve only used Sally Hansen’s when I apply eyes, but these days I use UV resin to attach my eyes and don’t break out the SH. When I did though, 1 coat always seemed to do the trick!
@edrobison2232 Жыл бұрын
@@SDGCustomLurecraft thanks for the reply. I've been using 2 coats of SH but I agree I think one coat is enough. Really enjoy your videos and they have helped make my jigs better.

Out of curiosity, how does the plastics go to the top and bottom of the bait with two different colors when it's just one channel to inject in? Thanks for the informative channel and the well done content, really enjoy watching the process. God bless
@SDGCustomLurecraft10 ай бұрын
Thank you much, glad you're enjoying the content! For a laminate (2 colors shot at the same time), assuming the two sides are close in temperature (and thereby close in viscosity - there are exceptions where different temps are required to get similar viscosity) they will flow into the mold at the same rate and flow into the two halves of the cold properly... the bottom color on the bottom side of the bait, the top color vise versa. Typically, single port molds are cut with just that... the top of the bait on one side and the bottom of the bait on the other. There are also multi-port molds where the baits are cut sideways. This allow you to shoot a belly color vs a back/top color for each bait (think swimbaits). So... its really all about mold design and controlling your plastic so the two colors don't mix while shooting. Hope this helps!

That bait in the thumbnail would be very good for flounder and redfish and trout if it comes in the right size and plastic. 3-4" with a floating very flexible soft plastic should be perfect.
