I still prefer Dehya, as a day one player and able to complete abyss with only 2 units in each team i still prefer Dehya since she got very cool design, i dont need super strong character since my units already cracked, Baizhu is really bland, mediocre, ugly design, the fact that he released together with Honkai starrail also doesnt help his banner sales, poor dude

I love Baizhu, I waited years for him and he's my favorite character. I have him at C1, so my favorite hobby is throwing my characters off a cliff, reviving them at 1 hp, then just tapping E twice to be back at full health. He's amazing, and he's gonna get better with Fontaine where it's gonna be all about hp drain mechanics.

I personally run him as a main dps (C2, triple crowned with 2pc dendro dmg, 2pc atk and R5 Widsith) and honestly he is so fun to use. I also like running him with my (also dps...) yaoyao (4pc deepwood), so there is no need to compare the two if i can simply run them together :3

It took me a while to get used to his shield, but Baizhu is by far my best and favorite healer. Which absolutely sucks cuz I'm a Xiao main lolololol (So what I kinda ended up doing is making a team where the other two react with both anemo and dendro, I think I was playing with Fischl and Ayato, and I like it)

Scara and baizhu were both introduced long time ago, And I was like, nah... Not gonna pull them. Not interested. Then wjen the time has come (scaramouche release) I'm like, nah.. Not gonna pull him then they made him anemo😂 (I end up gumbling bcoz it wasn't planned so i don't have enough primos after getting Nahida) im just a welkin enjoyer only. I lose my 50/50 to 1st copy of mona😂. That really hurts. I waited til last three days before his banner ends, i only habe 40 pulls and I got him. Then again on baizhu, not really planning to get him. My pulls were meamt for nilou and ayaka only but them, the more i think of cyno and his ablity to heal all party, I end up gumbling again even though i habe a strong feeling I will lose. Yeah it happened. I got my 1st qiqi copy afrer 2 yrs in genshin. I even burned all of my gen crystal savings f9r ayakas skin to hit pity( because I wasted my pulls on nilous weapon). So broke. A day after losing to qiqi I even dreamed of getting Baizhu. What the heck😂. After losing to qiqi I have nothing left. 1 wish a day. On my 4th day since losing to qiqi, I did my single pull( with no hopes) then that single pull became gold like what😂. Not planning to get scara and baizhu, end up pullikg for them, both lose 50/50 then still got them after few pulls. Wow. But it never happened to venti. Anyways, I agree yaoyao is better but atleast, having him will help me to devide dendro teams in abyss. Like, putting him on Alhaitham team, or on nilou with yaoyao, then nahida on Alhaitham.

All i can say is that (spoil u so u dont have to read my long ass essay, play baizhu with nilou bloom team so u dont fking die in ur own cores and HEAL UR TEAM but srsly tho baizhu is underrated Baizhu on agrv team (which mostly is double dendro/electro or others would mostly want to have a gather/anemo grouper they will run dendro trave/nahida) u will either use sac frag or fav codex for one reason being that u either need er or healing, for me i find that sac frag is very good for baizhu as i can stay as long as like with my dps/support and then when ever im low i just switch to baizhu and spam e and heals the whole team My rotation is always fischl baizhu traveler keqing and then i rotate as fast as i can to fischl to keep my electro apply going to keep my set active then apply dendro/energy for trav and reset burst set up with baizhu For ppl who's asking abt what baizhu's shield rly is, imma straight tell u that it doesn not block atks well, but its more of like a reduction as u get some heals back with brust and apply off field dendro with burst. His shield is best used in bloom teams which is yelan nilou nahida and then baizhu, since baizhu is dendro shield he blocks 250% dendro dmg meaning that u wont die from your own cores, which is why baizhu is also ran in a bloom team, bcuz i kid u not i run nilou bloom team (this was with triple hyrdo since nahida is pilot) bloom cores explodes half of my health which is fairly annoying cuz if i accidentally get swiped or hit by my own cores NAHIDA DIES AJDHWJDJWI and then baizhu arrived, my yelan is a battery and i have a good er (since its not triple hydro, i ran sac bow instead of simulacra i just switch my artifacts so my yelan still has 38k hp with 70/147 cr and 230er, if u have c1 then dont use sac bow, u can still run sac bow if u need more battery but its kinda wasted so no-) baizhu's healing is quite big and remember that baizhu is ass with clam set, never use clam set like .-. Bruh he literally has his own set that contributes more dendro reaction dmg and gives him hp which is the vorsh set i forgor what its actially called, he is also cheap af u just give him 4 pc deepwood hp and ur all set, baizhu shield also disappears when ur hit and proceeds to launch a dendro projectile and then will spawn a shield again. Overall, baizhu is comfy to play around dendro teams, i play yao yao and baizhu and the difderence for me is night and day, the one good thing that baizhu can do is be a literal meatshield, incoming atks are no problem since i just switch to baizhu and i dont have to worry anymore, as of playing yao yao theres more prone to risk getting my dps 1 shotted if cant dodge but thats a you problem/skill issue, overall is baizhu is bruhge he is not great or bad he is oke and decent to play with and if u are someone who struggles to dodge, just switch to baizhu and ofc still try and dodge some atks and then heal ur self, my baizhu jas 62k health and has 1.2k def ER is 160-180 depends on what artifact i switch when using either fav codex or sac frag, with these stats i am basically playing a dendro zhong li except his shield is non existent but can still tank dmg and most importantly is apply dendro and heal :D Thats my take, lol spent 10 mins typing this essay, thanks for wasting your time LMAO
