Baja Designs 40" Light Bar!

You should check the instructions for the Prinsu light bar brackets. You installed them onto the black bar on the top of the rack but I'm 99.9% sure they actually go on the silver bar that the fairing mounts to. Where you pointed to the downward angled piece blending into the fairing, that angle ends up being vertical. Your driver's side would get flipped upside down and moved to the passenger side and vice versa. The reason they go on fairing is that you can have the fairing at multiple positions on the front of the rack and so the light bar would just move with the fairing. If it got mounted to the black bar, the light is really high and far back from the fairing cutout. Some light bar and fairing positions might work as you built it but a low, skinny light and low fairing will have excessive cutoff. You had to aim your light high to compensate. Hopefully this helps put your light into a better position with respect to your fairing cutout instead of being set so far back.

I dont want to use the crappy switches that the harness comes with.. i want to use my own toggle switch so to separately turn on the amber and white, i have to use 2 differ switches right?

Which low profile bracket from cali led did you end up putting on instead of the bracket you initially installed with the one you order directly from prinsu?

The Baja designs light bar back lighting looks like a true amber? Like it matches the grill lights amber. Is that the case? Wondering because I like the amber a lil more for my truck to match rest of turn signals and things instead of the selective yellow that Baja designs is calling amber. Any info?

Can you show the wiring of this? I've got the backlights working but when wired up to a cali raised switch, the bar won't come on

Which pattern are you running with the mixed amber+white setup? Is there a noticeable difference offroading with the amber+white? Looking to swap my lenses to have them like yours with ambers on the ends

I switched just because the baja amber was a different shade as the cali raised amber and I liked my baja ditch lights also if you look at my truck now on IG you see another reason why I went baja everything

Then you just buy replacement amber covers for the outside 2 sections of the bar

@@EnriqueG_s550 Thanks man! Going for the same exact look but couldn't find anything similar. Only one was the OnX6 and didn't want to spend that much on a lightbar. The S8 is perfect with the retrofit.
