Welcome to Season 4! Our Baja Mexico #Vanlife Series. We are Wiley & Dre and in this series we take our Van, Uhuru, and our Siberian Husky, Maisha international to Baja, Mexico. This season we wanted to explore some uncharted territory in our van and cross international borders for the first time!
Welcome back! In todays episode we leave the coast and head to the interior part of Baja to Rancho San Dionisio. We take you to a freshwater oasis for some really good hiking in the Sierra de la Lagunas. The largest mountain range in southern Baja. We stay at a ranch located right at the trailhead of the mountains and enjoy fresh water pools to cool off in. This part of Baja is not what you expect when you come here and it feels like a little slice of heaven.

Very impressive you made it so far. Few years ago i went up this trail mid day from the trailhead and turned back from the second pool (~2 miles…). Good hike. Actually they take groups up this trail many miles further where there is a huge plain where they camp overnight…..
