I have been watching you and Brad for years now but only through his channel. I made the mistake of assuming yours and his would be very similar. Far from the truth, and so i've been going back and watching older videos. I actually enjoy your content a bit more, no knock on TrailRecon cause I think he produces fantastic content. I grew up in SE AZ, moved away to WI for many years and am now back. Despite growing up within minutes of the border I had never ventured into MX past border towns as a teen or young adult. I spent some time in Puerto Penasco recently and was floored by how welcoming and friendly the people were. I really enjoyed my time there and can't wait to go back. Lots of stereotypes were crushed (a little embarrassed I had them to begin with) and I look forward to spending more time south of the border. I love seeing your adventures into MX, thanks for producing them.

Marco, love your style! You and I are very similar in that we are more than happy to cook for a crowd. I recently ordered a Gladiator but for years we’d be camping and the family would say “it’s “dad’s get fat camp”” as we would eat just as well in the backcountry as we would at home. Cheers!

Camping in the wind, I know all about that in Perth AU it's the windiest city in Australia. A small caravan is very appealing for camping when you need to escape harsh elements.

I really enjoy seeing Marco keep the his indigenous roots in his cooking. My wife recently made a hot coco drink made from raw chocolate for Christmas. My eldest daughter didn't know that originally the drink never had milk. She actually enjoyed it this way too. I like to add spices to my chocolate drink, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon black pepper. My cousin's will add chilli pepper. You can see his cooking is an extension of his family going back generations.

Marco, we must've been there at exactly the same time. We left just after Christmas on the 26th and made it to camp just under the volcano a few kms south of Puertecitos. You're not joking about the wind. It absolutely howled that night. We packed up and slept in the truck until dawn. Definitely coming down again to check out your Punta Final spot! Cheers!
