In Search of the perfect Torta!

This can easily be one of my favorite recipes for camp cooking! The Rib Eye Asado Torta on a Mexican Bolillo roll and the vegetarian option Portobello Asado Torta on a Ciabatta roll are fantastic for that lunch or dinner around the campfire with friends and family! The tangy and delicious pickled red onion with chopped habanero and the simple, creamy and savory red jalapeño salsa are so easy to make that it will blow your mind! Make this recipe on your next camping trip and become the camp kitchen hero!!!

Marco, I’m a native San Diegan but moved to Northeast Colorado in 2003. I have not been able to eat a carne asada torta since I lived back home. I ordered a brand new 2021 JL Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon back on November 30th, 2020. The Rubicon finally came in about 2 weeks ago and I officially bought it and did the paperwork on it today, March 1st, 2021. This one is the first Jeep that I have ever owned and I am pretty excited to see how it performs off road. Especially seeing how well it will compare up against my 2 previous Toyota Tacoma’s that I used to own.
