The description of the movement of energy in the one-inch punch in their conversation is amazing. Together they give an insight into the internal movement that will give me something to work on for a lifetime or two!
I have spent decades studying martial arts. I can speak from personal experience what a pleasure it is to meet another experienced martial artist with respect and admiration and to exchange information and practice with one another. It is a joy like few others.
I really enjoyed watching this as open hand and forearm strikes have been something I’ve been working on at close range for some years . I used these open hand strikes in real life as a police officer when attacked by violent criminals. Every single time they went down .using the head to strike and using the opponents limb alignment as a route of attack is missed by many. You must experiment and develop an extremely strong grip for grabbing the soft lymph node zone on the inner thigh . That is excruciatingly painful on an opponent to upsets balance and manipulates their fight response.

I loved how Ishii sensei looks so happy and proud to be sparring with Miyahira sensei, the expression on his face is priceless!

Even when he’s caught and in pain. The difference is a matter of magnitude.
