I mean, she seems smart enough to understand, but again, she is still a teenager.

With all the crap happening in her life, I'm surprised that Octavia hasn't ran away from home yet. I've already said this before, but with all the stuff that's been happening (in hindsight, Mastermind seems like the perfect culmination), it makes me want to write a fanfiction where she runs away to the human world and gives herself a human disguise, but then eventually runs into a human boy around her age at a high school and gets into a cute romance with him. I want the boy to be an actual character with his own personality and conflicts, with the story flipping back and forth between Octavia's perspective and the human's perspective, with the human's story serving as a bit of comic relief that parodies coming of age high school movie tropes. Of course, Octavia lies about who she is and what her home life is like, but eventually she reveals the truth to him when she feels that she can trust him enough after they've officially become a couple (this would also be close to prom night). But while the boy is terrified, he doesn't run away leading to a third act misunderstanding. He takes the time to process it all and realizes that he doesn't care about what she looks like, she's still the same girl that he's always loved, and would make a flirtatious joke about how he finds owls cuter anyways.

Sadly from what I can tell from some leaks from the next episode... She's going to believe her mother's lies, that he never really loved either of them. However that scene could have been earlier on, OR Stolas' brother, the one we saw riding that star will find a way to reveal the truth. Maybe just maybe, him supposedly being good at finding treasure, he will find some secret treasure that will either reveal the truth.. OR Maybe gain and unlikely ally... I.e Striker.

Stolas broke up with him because he thought Blitz wasn't taking his feelings seriously. Blitz loves Stolas too but has bad habit of pushing everyone away, considering his track record (mother died in a fire he indirectly started, brother disfigured, three romantic relationships broken).
