Bake Christmas Cookies 2023

Recipes:
Each recipe males about 30 cookies
Ginger Snaps Recipe
Ingredients
6 TBSP softened butter (I used salted)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 tsp salt
1.5 tsp ginger
1.5 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 egg
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tap baking soda
Directions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees F
In an electric stand mixer, add butter, molasses and sugar. Cream together.
Add vanilla and egg, mix well
Add the spices and salt. Mix well
Add the flour and baking soda and powder.
Mix well, but don't overmix.
Scoop 1 tsp of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
Cinnamon Nibblers Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
Directions
In an electric stand mixer add butter and sugar....mix well
Add egg, cinnamon and vanilla and mix well
Sift in flour, baking powder, salt
Mix well but don't overmix.
Fold in nuts.
Refrigerate dough 30 minutes before baking
Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
Drop 1 tsp cookie dough balls on lightly greased baking tray and bake 12 minutes. These cookies will spread so don't overcrowd the pan.
Both of these cookies can be cooled on wire rack before packing away.
