Bake the best summer cake now! Delicate cherry cake with streusel that melts in your mouth.
You have to try this delicious cake with quark, cherries and streusel! Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Juicy cake with custard. This new recipe for cherry cake with streusel is a delight 👌 So tender, creamy and juicy!
Ingredients / Recipe: (1 cup = 250 ml)
350 g cherries (sour cherries) (about 1 1/2 cups)
Collect the juice and drain the cherries well.
Sprinkles:
70 g butter (soft) (1/3 cup)
70 g sugar (1/3 cup)
90 g flour (2/3 cup)
Now process into crumbles.
Cream:
1 egg
60 g sugar (1/3 cup)
200 g quark (cottage cheese or cream cheese) 4/5 cup
250 g sour cream (sour cream) 1 cup
150 g crème fraîche (3/5 cup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (liquid or powder)
2 heaped tablespoons corn starch
Dough:
2 eggs
120 g sugar (3/5 cup)
A pinch of salt
60 ml oil (1/3 cup)
140 g flour (1 cup) + 2 heaped teaspoons baking powder
50 g ground almonds (1/2 cup)
40 g corn starch (1/3 cup)
60 ml cherry juice (1/4 cup)
Baking pan: 18 x 28 cm (7 x 10.5 inches)
Assemble the cake as shown in the video.
Bake the cherry cake at 170 °C (338 °F) top and bottom heat for about 1 hour.
