Bake with me | Happy moments with my parents |

Hi everyone. How's your day? I hope you're doing well. Today, I will share about out weekend with my parents and sisters. It's been a year since they visited us here in our home. Finally, we are allowed to have visitors again in our unit and we are so happy about it. My daughter and I bake them something.
Baking and cooking food for them is my way of telling I love them. How about you? Do you say “I love you” often to your parents or siblings? or do you show it with other love gesture like this? ☺️
Bake with us Carrot walnut cake and chocolate chips cookies. I double the recipe for the carrot cupcake in the video.
Below is the recipe of the Carrot walnut and chocolate chips cookies. For the walnut cupcake I doubled the recipe.
•Carrot Walnut Cake
Ingredients:
100g flour
90g brown sugar
125g grated carrots
100ml oil
1 egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
35 mg chopped walnuts (optional)
Salt
Creamcheese Frosting:
100g creamcheese
30g butter
125g powdered sugar
Bake at 180°C for 25-35 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean when you insert in the middle.
•Chocolate chips cookie
Ingredients:
1 cup melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 tsp Vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 and 3/4 cup Flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
• In a bowl, add the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar and vanilla. Mix well.
• Add the flour and baking soda. Mix well. add chocolate chips
• Chill for atleast 1 hour
• Scoop the cookie dough into the baking tray lined with baking paper
• Bake in the oven at 180C for 12-14 minutes
• Let it cool before serving
