When I was a teen I showed the first couple of episodes of Bake to my mom and she called Hanekawa liking Araragi on episode ONE. The author did a great job with the characterization for subtleties like that to come across while still leaving enough room for doubts like Anna had here.

​@@MisterNivei know this was before they started this slower pace they're going at recently due to Ben's mental health, but i can't imagine them starting another show when 4 shows are already a big struggle (that's if you even count Re:zero, since it's soon going to be a month without ep 2). And even after Ben recovers and can build a proper schedule again, i think keeping the amount of shows they have on rotation on the low side is better to account for any unforeseen circumstances, + we could get two episodes a week for certain shows when the circumstances are optimal.

Again, I'm a weird one, before all of this if I were to say who I liked in the cast the most it'd be Araragi for his actions, but last episode, the reveal in this episode and next episode made my heart melt for Hanekawa. And I always do this, I always go for the second girl in a series for some reason, I never stick to the girl who is the main lead, pick any series that has a harem plot and I'll easily pick any girl outside of the main one and it's frustrating to me because it's such a cliche thing to do, "oh you're picking the second girl to be contrary" no I'm not, it's just...I feel for Hanekawa so bad in this and it breaks my heart to see her upset like this. Want nothing but the best for her. I'm such a simp for things like this....

That means "I hope they watch it the way the anime was shown originally because that's how every fan saw it" My reference to Haruhi is people like yourself saying "this is what was meant to be seen, see it's what the order of the novels is, that's the best way to watch it" Like the release of Haruhi's disjointed completely random order that is the "official" release. Where as fans have figured out the best watch release by reorganising episodes. I am the second group, who looks at this and says the Kizu should come after Nise - because it works better as a story this way - and you are the former, sticking to the "correct path" that will have 3 things happen. 1. they'll marvel at the amazing movie animation 2. they'll get backstory 3. when they get to Nise they'll notice the lower animation quality as they're watching it sequentially and it'll lower their enjoyment. Kizumonogatari was supposed to release in 2011 and the only reason it released later was because of production issues. Like look at episode 4 of Nise. One of the best episodes in the entire series but without context with Shinobus backstory it means absolutely nothing. That alone is enough reason why we should follow the order intended by the original author AND the production team of the anime. Your Haruhi example is really bad btw since the production team did that order intentionally in contrast to Kizu and Hanamonogataris order.

I just heard the devastating news that Ben passed away in the hospital from the injuries he got during the altercation with the stalker. It’s shocking and heartbreaking that things escalated this far. Ben and Anna had been dealing with this stalker for months behind the scenes, trying to handle it quietly, but it’s tragic that it ended in such a horrible way.
