monogatari is about geometry, architecture, and urban planning

yeah bakemonogatari is kinda unique audiovisual experience even compared to the rest of the series. Tatsuya Oishi's direction makes it really special.

I would even venture to say that because of this, Kizumonogatari and Bakemonogatari have the best directions in the series.

Thank you so much for doing a Bake edit. This quite literally my favorite installment in the series. It's literally perfect. It's everything I never knew I wanted in an anime. Though I absolutely adore the rest of the series, something about Bakemonogatari feels different. It touches my soul like other media. A unique experience that I believe will never be replicated. Truly a special piece of media that I cant help but cherish. Please as always do more of these edits. You have a talent for perfectly capturing the awe feeling we get from this anime.

The start of everything

wasnt the start of everything kizu? or i guess that would be the prologue while the true start is bake
@Ramen_5052 ай бұрын
@@marselo1316I may be wrong but if you wanted to go into Araragi's past, Sodachi's stuff is first on the timeline before meeting Kissshot. I just meant that this was the start of the monogatari series in terms of the anime.

Monogatari's environment and landscape is so so fucking beautiful, It is so optimistic and hopeful not in a natural way but in a way that evokes a sense of a feeling of nostalgia not primarly melancholy but more like yearning for future and it sets you in a place urban or a place that seems to be cool and even the openings and characters do it justice. This is why i love the show, Especially the night tone and the day tone.

Thx ! You're on point, one of the things that gave me the idea of doing these is the channel Burak's Cut who did edits for Frieren, Dorohedoro, Bake, Spice and Wolf etc...

I'm not even messing but this makes me tear up. I love every single second this. Monogatari is so special to me like fr. This channel is blessing I can't lie, it makes me think back to when I first watched this and how everything was just so simple back then.

Thx for the compliment ! Nostalgia and melancholy can be nice ngl, but this is not the end ! In general, one of the main themes of the series is the passage and the end of adolescence/youth after all. Nevertheless this is also about growing up, defining ourselves, accepting our anxiety and finding our own kind of happinesses. I see you have a Nadeko Draw pfp so I'm sure you can relate !
@8kuji2 ай бұрын
@@lebalux1840 oh yeah definitely I can relate. It's all about learning to love yourself and coming to terms with your past yet still moving forward in life. Nadeko Draw is powerful through how Nadeko faces her past selves and learns to accept every part of her. It's powerful it's something that I really should apply to myself that I should grow and develop and yes while my youth is pretty over and I get nostalgic over the past. Hanamonogatari shows that the best I think, learning to love yourself more and keep moving on. Nostalgia is a gift but a curse but after all and my end of adolescence has all but come but rest assured that I'm learning to shred the parts of me that I don't like about myself , I will still accept them as part of me and keep living day after day. Weirdly enough, it takes a show like mono to engrain that into me lol
@lebalux18402 ай бұрын
@@8kuji It's nice that you're trying to move forward too. I agree about Hanamonogatari too. On that note, I sadly cannot upload the Hanamonogatari edit on youtube because the OST used is instantly striked.... So It's only on reddit for now
