I love Baker Creek Seeds but they are just too pricey. I've had to look at other suppliers in recent years. But ANY seed order is a BLAST to look through. One of my favorite pastimes.

@@miscellaneousme Prefer, not necessarily. I have ordered from Johnny's (which can also be pricey), MI Gardner, and various Ebay growers. And lets not forget the good ole fashioned garden center near you. Honestly it's who has the best price for the variety I need.

Ah yes, seed haul day always triggers a nice little dopamine hit. For ordering heirloom seed, I also like Seed Savers Exchange out of Iowa. I was finally able to score some Sweet Meat Squash after like a year of looking and am excited about trying it next year. Carol Deppe says it makes superior pumpkin pie than using pumpkins. If I become morbidly obese next fall, you'll know the experiment was successful.
