the pink foam for the bottom footings of the trestle is a good idea that I will do because the rotting thing is what has prevented me from making my trestles. Have a lot of raised track.

I have seen this railway in person a few years back. It is fabulous, very well done. My hats off to the Lees’ for creating this grand outdoor layout. I wish I lived closer to be able visit more often. 😊

I absolutely love the old grist mill on this layout. My family built one in the mid-late 1870's and operated it until the early 1930's when it was washed away by a flood. I've been thinking about how I could incorporate a mill like this on a future layout that I'm planning. Amazing job Gary!
